A Chef Chris Kajioka restaurant that debuted in 2020 in partnership with San Francisco-based chef, Mourad Lahlou, called Miro Kaimuki.

The restaurant is located in the space which formerly housed Honolulu's venerable Café Miro for 23 years. Similar to its predecessor, Miro Kaimuki features a French-inspired menu punctuated with Japanese flavors and techniques. The restaurant is a reunion for chefs Kajioka and Lahlou who first worked together at San Francisco's Aziza and Mourad.

7-course prix fixe menu available Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are required for the dining room. Parking is located behind the restaurant on 9th Ave. If full, street parking is available. If you are running late, please call the restaurant. We will hold your table for 15 minutes before the cancellation fee applies. For parties of 1-3, we allow for up to 2 hours for dinner; for parties of four or more 2.5 hours. Please contact us at info@mirokaimuki.com for reservation inquiries for parties of 7 or more. A 20% gratuity may added for parties of 5 or more. Reservations are available 30 days in advance. Cancellation Policy: $50 per person if cancelled within 24 hours of your reservation

The tasting menu was thoughtfully crafted, and each course was individually excellent. However, many dishes leaned heavily on bold seasoning and richness, which, when experienced sequentially, led to a cumulative heaviness. This somewhat overshadowed the later courses.

This restaurant is unbelievable. The food is creative and put together in a way where the exotic flavors come together to create heaven in your mouth. We cannot say enough about how truly excellent the cuisine is. Whether it’s the lamb, the ahi, the brioche topped with all kinds of splendors…..it never disappoints. Additionally, James and Martin add to our wonderful experiences. James is so knowledgeable about wine pairings and Martin always makes sure we have the best culinary experience. Hats off to Chef Chris. He is a master.

Truthfully could be mine and my wife’s favorite dining experience we’ve ever had. She’s a budding sommelier so we go to nice places often and this was the spot she grew up riding the bus past thinking she’d never have the money to go inside which made it even more special. Each dish was absurd! Legitimate craftsmanship with each dish and both the wine and cocktail pairing actually worked and enhanced each dish. The Maitre D was super welcoming and fun and the beverage director/gm was amazing and overwhelmingly knowledgeable. Even our waiter was funny and professional and just great. Every single thing was a hit. If every restaurant experience was like this no one would ever eat at home. Phenomenal. Worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back.

I love this place! I think it's the best food in Honolulu. If it weren't so expensive, I'd come every month.

Miro Kaimuki really did save the best for last! The December 2024 menu is brilliant! Every single dish was 🔥 And the Premium Wine Pairing was impressive! The staff works together in harmony and their passion really shines through! I am still dreaming about the Foie Gras dish 🤤

7 Course Tasting was outstanding. Service and execution was flawless and portions were perfect. Appreciate everyone that puts that level of effort into creating a unforgettable experience.

My absolute favorite restaurant. I used to love going to Senia, then I moved to the mainland. Finally got to try Miro Kaimuki when I came to visit. Came in with high expectations since Senia was my favorite restaurant. Absolutely blown away. Each bite filled with happiness. Not to mention the professional and warm service from the team especially Ross and Shiina. I’m booking multiple reservations next time I visit Hawaii.

英語が苦手でもたくさんコミニュケーションを取ってくださったので楽しめました！ 0歳と２歳も一緒でしたが、優しく対応していただけました。お料理も最高で感動していたら、あっという間にし2時間の食事が終わってしまいました！また行きたいと思います！

The vibe, menu, staff, just everything is perfect - will keep going back for special good times and just as many times as possible. It is one of if not the most delicious and beautifully crafted places I have eaten at. The build of the menu, the pairings, and the way the staff treats the meals by chef when they bring them to the table. Its perfect.
