Minty Z is a one-of-a kind experience, serving plant-based dumplings, bao buns, noodles & more. The brainchild of chef Alex Falco & wife Minty Zhu, the plant-adorned eatery was named "Best Restaurant in Coconut Grove" by Miami New Times in 2021. You don’t have to be a vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, flexitarian, or any other type-of-tarian to be blown away by their innovative and unique creations, extensive drink menu or sake-based cocktails. VEGAN food for any palate preference. The food is absolutely amazing. The combination of flavors makes for an unbelievable dining experience. You will NOT be disappointed.

So happy to have found this place! The staff was excellent, friendly and attentive and the food was served so quickly! The food exceeded our expectations. We ordered the brussel sprouts, ube sweet potato bao, avocado spring rolls and kung pao tofu. The tofu was so crispy and flavorful. The bao buns were pillowy soft, slightly sweet but not overpowering. The avocado spring rolls were a perfect complement to the spicy entree. Everything was delectable! This place is a must try for anyone looking for a delicious dinner, even if you don’t follow a vegetarian diet! We Can’t wait to come back :)

A couple items were served and we ate them. They were not very tasty by themselves. Some time had passed and then the sauces for those items arrived, so they were not enjoyed as intended. Overall everything else was just OK and a bit pricey.

Server was so friendly, we felt unrushed and food came out well timed as we were a table of 4 sharing. As always the food was excellent. We ate inside and it’s a bit loud and there was a lot of smoke from the kitchen coming into the dining area. We will return! We appreciate a fully vegan restaurant

The food is absolutely delicious, and you could sense the creativity of the chefs in composing them. It is quite expensive though, especially considering the more casual vibes of the restaurant. Also the kitchen could get quite loud at some points.

is our favorite vegan restaurant in South Florida, if you are around Coconut Grove do NOT miss it! Smash cucumber salad is a must, and the curry tofu noodles.

The food was incredible and the waitress was amazing. The only things that really bothered me were that I made a reservation for an outside table and when we arrived, we were seated inside. All the hostess said was that "They're sorry". No explanation why or an attempt to make the situation better. Why provide the offer if you can't honor it? Also, when making the reservation I was asked if this was a celebration and I listed the anniversary. I'm curious why they asked as they didn't do anything special/different or even mention it. Since they asked I was kind of expecting something so it was a bit of a letdown. Again, why ask about something if it isn't going to matter? Since the food was great, I would go back. Just a few nitpicky things that keep me from giving it 5 stars and also as a heads up for anyone else booking.
