We were seated promptly we were given water and asked for drinks. The waitress was very professional and service was excellent. The food was extremely tasty and my wife and I had a nice evening out

Considering how many exceptional restaurants there are in the Portland area, it's a bit unusual that we choose to go to Mingo so often, but dinners like the one we enjoyed last Friday night are exactly why we do. It literally was one of the best meals, and best dining experiences, we've had in quite some time. As usual, the staff were friendly and approachable, even when informing us that the party ahead of us at our table was taking longer than they expected to finish up. So Michael, the owner, found a couple of seats at the bar took our drink order, which we enjoyed while we waited for our table. The wait was less than 10 minutes and no big deal...it was a busy Friday night during the holidays after all. When we were seated, it didn't take long for our server. Suzie, to come over, tell us about the menu specials for the evening and recommend what turned out to be a lovely bottle of red wine that we had with dinner. We split a crab cake appetizer and a Mingo (Caesar) salad and both were fresh and delicious. My wife ordered the daily ravioli dish and I selected cioppino, and we were both very happy with our entrees. The cioppino was packed with seafood in a delicious broth...I would definitely get it again. The entire place had a festive vibe to it, with a solid "hum" of conversation but it wasn't so loud as to make it difficult for us to talk with each other and with Suzie. It was an absolutely lovely evening from start to finish.

There were six of us for our annual family Pre-Christmas dinner. We do this every year at a different restaurant, last night was perfect. Our server was great, the food was great, the cocktails were great. We had a great time!

We’ve been coming to Mingo West for over 20 years. It’s consistently delicious + our sever tonight, Lee, did a phenomenal job. Keep up the great work!

Had server Anabel. Took 20 mins until she asked what what we wanted to drink. Then another 20+ mins to order food. Usually come here for dinner and have no problem w ordering. Enjoyed the food. But disliked the service that was given. Took forever but the food was amazing as always.

Overall very nice. However, someone on wait staff asked one of my daughters for us to move to bar t seat another patron which I understood however I would have preferred that the request be made of me as I was the host for our party of four and had spent nearly $400 on our dinner. Greg Schmidt
