The food is excellent - be patient. You are on island time; as people have said in other reviews. We arrived at 7:30pm and our food did not arrive until 9pm. We were hungry at 7:30pm and you can imagine by 9pm we were hangry. It was worth the wait. We had the curry lobster and snapper almondine and both were excellent - large portions and could not finish. Maybe next time we will order an appetizer and split an entree?

We had a great time! So shocked at the server for picking up it was my birthday. Everyone was lovely and we had a great time!

Mim’s is wonderful! Service is kind , view is mesmerizing and the stuffed baked lobster should not be missed!

This was our second time at mom’s this week. First time service, food, and quality of the wine was spectacular. Last night - not so much. Our server was extremely slow and not attentive. I received a side dish I did not order, my fish was overdone and dry and tasted like it sat too long under a heat lamp waiting for pickup by server. Wine tasted “old” and like bottom of the bottle.(same wine ordered previously was perfect). Server did not come back with second round of drinks - hostess finally did. Waited a long time for her to return following completion of the meal and let her know we did want to order desert. After an extended period with no sign of server, we got up and left. Very disappointed. But, my husband’s red snapper was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Pretty long wait for food and it wasn’t particularly busy, but otherwise a great experience. The lobster is incredible.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s always a stop when I come to visit the Usvi. The staff treats you like family.
