Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. Their six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all.

Mildreds Covent Garden was opened in 2022 and is split over 2 floors. The restaurant offers private hire for parties of 8 - 50.

Our private dining space is located in the basement of our Covent Garden restaurant. The room has movable seating to assist in creating a flexible and memorable gathering for up to 10 guests. Jane’s table is named after our founder, Jane Muir, who opened the very first Mildreds restaurant in Soho in 1988. Cost of space: from open until 11am, £200 minimum spend per 2 hour seating Please note that we require a deposit to secure the booking, fully refundable if cancelled 48+ hours in advance. Any decorations brought to Mildreds will need to be removed and disposed of appropriately by the organiser after the event.

The whole experience was just average. Staff efficient and helpful. The kids were happy. Our starters came with our mains which was annoying. The menu hasn't really changed much in the last few years.

Excellent vegan and vegetarian food . Somewhat limited menu , but menus do change weekdays and weekends . Bottle of wine at £33 , I thought a bit expensive . Three mains at approx £16 per head and three deserts averaging £8-£12 plus the wine came to £125 which is average these days . Service charge was included . Groups can have a sharing platter and no alcohol just their carafe of water , which they regularly renew . Disabled toilet on ground level other toilets downstairs . Service was good . Didn’t have to wait between courses but wasn’t hurried . Ambience was good ( French cafe style , casual dress code ) Restaurant and toilet was clean . Staff were smartly dressed and efficient . Best to book in advance particularly at weekends as they were very busy and all two hour dining slots were full . I would book again for Mildred’s and recommend them

Food is incredibly good, service is efficient too, we suppose that the level of noise has confused both us and the person in charge to take the order, because we received one wrong order. It was offered to have it changed, but it was really a shame to wast the food.

An excellent experience! The waitress provided honest and helpful advice, the other staff were attentive too and the ambience was very relaxed. The food was truly delicious throughout and the price was at a sensible level. The added bonus was a recognition of my friend's birthday and we felt that everyone had gone out of their way to make it a very friendly and special occasion. Thank you to you all!

This was my second time there so I tried things I hadn't had before. Everything is great, quality and tasty ingredients make the comfort food like the Korean Fried Chik'en really satisfying and the Kale Ceasar salad refreshing, full of flavor and light. My favorite two items were the Macha salsa hummus and the kimchi gyoza.

The meal was great. It was crowded and very noisy. My chair was next to the bar. The floorboard was loose, causing my chair to rock when someone walked by, which was very often. It was difficult for me to enjoy the great food with my chair rocking so often.

What a great experience. From the moment we arrived, through our wonderful food and fab drinks we enjoyed it all. So much choice and everyone a winner.

Food was great. Really interesting vegan food at a reasonable price. I went to the trouble of booking but we were shunted into the basement - only one other table occupied and no atmosphere at all 😢

Wonderful food as always - attentive friendly staff, it was my birthday and we were given complimentary chocolate truffles with a candle in at the end of our meal. Lovely restaurant, we’ve been multiple times and we will definitely go back again!
