All in all very good. My personal preference was that the pizzas were a little bland but the pasta was amazing.

A return visit to this excellent restaurant as part of a theatre evening. As always we received a very pleasant welcome. Food was excellent, we dined as a couple from the a la Carte menu rather than the theatre menu. We had Scallops & Muscles to start with followed by Sea Bass & Lamb fillets. Excellent quality and presentation. Wine choice is good with some lovely reds. They appeared to have a couple of trainee waiters/ waitresses who very pleasant but just needed more knowledge and confidence. This will come in time as we have all had to start somewhere. Fully recommend as great pre theatre venue or for that special occasion in the city center. Thanks again Lorraine & Steve

From reception to departure the service was excellent. The food was outstanding and enjoyed by all. The service was prompt and discrete. I'm sure we will be returning soon.

Had lovely lunch with excellent service. Thought as we were celebrating two special birthdays that maybe you could have come out with a birthday dessert or something like that. Even a few chocolate mints would have been nice touch

Went for pre-theatre dinner before going to the Hippodrome. Pre-theatre 2 or 3 course menu was very good. Thoroughly recommended. It’s a few minutes walk to the Hippodrome with is just opposite

Good menu including gluten free. Excellent service and reasonably priced Food of a high quality and great presentation. Overall an excellent experience. Have used them before and will use again.

The staff were lovely, but we arrived at our table at about 6.05 pm and got our main meals at almost 7 pm. We were at the ballet at 7.30 pm, luckily just across the road, or we would have had to leave much earlier. We ate our main meal and asked for the bill simultaneously. There was a problem with the till as we didn't get our drinks order on seating until a good 20 mins. The food was incredible. Just a little disappointed as it was so lovely.
