Our Weekday Lunch Menu is £95 per person, for 4-courses. A deposit of 50% per person is required to secure the reservation, the balance to be paid on the day. Any cancellation/drop in numbers made less than 48 hours in advance will result in the deposit for those guests being non-refundable. Very nice attention to the fact that we went there to celebrate a birthday. The food was outstanding, especially the squid and the venison.

Such a special experience! It’s been a difficult year for my wife Christine as she has been very poorly. We could not think of a better place to celebrate getting through 2024. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was as usual out of this world. We hope to be back soon. Thank you so much. John & Christine Pokora

We are a group of four female lifelong friends who visited on a Thursday lunchtime in December for our annual Christmas catchup. Midsummer House is in a beautiful location by the river and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble even when one of our party had to make a last minute change to one of the dishes this was accommodated without any issues and in a very speedy manner. The food was delicious and the sommelier was very helpful with wine pairings. Whilst it is not an inexpensive lunch we felt that we had value for money and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Immaculate, attentive service. Comfortable, relaxing and warm environment. Every single aspect of the food was sublime. The attention to detail was mind blowing. Without question, the best food we have ever eaten (and we dine out extensively at Michelin level ) Can’t recommend highly enough and can’t wait to visit again!
