MIDA is an inspired neighborhood Italian restaurant by award winning Chef, Douglass Williams. Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. We are all about supremely delicious food and warm hospitality.

Dinner is served Monday - Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Lunch is served Monday - Friday from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 AM -4:00 PM.

Reservations for indoor dining can be made in advance online. Patio reservations are now available for booking online or over the phone. Walk-ins are always welcome. Parties larger than six should call the restaurant directly to book a table.

It was the first time my family and I ate at MIDA Newton. It was an amazing experience. Every staff member was friendly (our waiter was TOP-NOTCH), the food was absolutely delicious (I was embarrassed that I completely and shamelessly cleaned my plate!!!) and the ambiance is so beautiful and festive. Totally a good value. I may even do events for my business there - it would be a very fitting place for a fashion show, photoshoot, etc. AND the Newton location is local to my business, which is a huge plus. GREAT experience and we can't wait to be back! My hint to you? Two words: MUSHROOM PAPPARDELLE. You're welcome! CARLA SHAW

Arancini were exceptional. Pasta Bolognese also. They didn't have the wine we ordered but the server made a lovely substitute and comped us on the wine. The noise level, however, was intolerable. And our table for two was so long we had to lean in and shout to have a conversation. It was so loud that we left before dessert and went to Rancatore's for ice cream and quiet conversation.

Nice place but pasta not what stated .. Amitricana not what was served! … even spelling wrong .. ragu sauce not supposed to be there .. tasted good though ..

Great food and service as always. We go a lot. One challenge: acoustics are nearly a deal breaker. Energy is great, but be prepared to struggle to hear your friend next or across from you, especially at the long tables for two. Totally fixable. Worth considering.

Excellent food, apps, dinner, desert, drinks. All very good and creative. Service was also excellent, knowledgeable and friendly, not pushing us along.

Great experience as always at Mida Newton! Attentive service, wine recommendations, and great food. The burrata and braised pork tagliatelle were especially good. A lovely valentines dinner!

As usual, a great meal thoughtfully prepared. The Valentine’s Day menu included 3 shared appetizers, a choice of 3 entrees and a choice of 2 desserts. The food is always creative and interesting- not the standard boring fare at other places. Service was attentive even though they were very busy. Always at the top of our list.
