Very Very delicious Mexican Food, maybe even some of the best I’ve ever had. Loved the decor of the restaurant and our servers were very professional and quick. Only complaint was the music was a bit too loud.

Food and service were great! However, we had a reservation for standard seating but were seated in the covered patio. This was fine, but it felt like they put all the young people out there and there was big group that was obnoxiously loud.

Food was bland. Expensive for the size of the plates. The margaritas were very watered down. Spent $160 total & still had to go grab food & drinks elsewhere after. Don’t recommend this place it’s not worth the price

Our first time trying this place out. We made a reservation for valentines night. The server had too big of a section to manage, well, even with a back server. The kitchen was ill prepared as they ran out of the Filet on the Mar Y Tierra which is ironically on their man menu and was a feature in the Valentine’s menu. They substituted it with the skirt steak which had great flavor, but there was no discount given for a lesser cut of steak. Then their dessert feature a Strawberry Tres Leche cake was sold out. Although the food was good, it wasn’t a great first time experience. And yes, I know it was a major night but for a chain restaurant to be that ill prepared is sad.

Our server was so kind. One of our friends had a peanut allergy and they were so accommodating and careful. We had the best time and the service was amazing

My wife and I came into town for Valentines Day. We booked our reservation a few days in advance and we were not disappointed. The first thing we noticed was the unique decor and louder music. It made for a great ambiance and the designs of the restaurant gave it an upbeat yet stylish feel. Our server was Kaitlin and she was very kind. She attended well to us and took care of making us feel welcome. My wife had the half chicken and I had the chicken tacos. Our food was absolutely sensational , the chicken fell off the bone and was just so perfectly cooked. The desserts were great too. We enjoyed the Tres Leche the most. We highly recommend Mi Vida and Kaitlin is an excellent server and will take care of all needs.

They forgot the shrimp on my dish! And the food was very one note, little depth. It was ok, but so mid.

The food was superb!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. It is on our must visit list every time we are visiting DC.

Loved it! Margaritas were great. The sharing platter was also great. The place is beautiful. We went with kids and it was easy with them as well

The ambience was good and maybe I’m just old but the DJ and the loud music was a bit unnecessary. I mean I go to EDM shows and music festivals but there’s a time and place. The food was INSANELY delicious and the waiters were impeccable.
