We decided to try Mezzaluna as it was open on Christmas Day. There were two main servers and they obviously tried their best. The cafe was about half seated and it seemed like a pleasant place, though much smaller than web photos. The food was decent; we especially liked the mezze plate of three dips and warm pita. The chili oil (didn’t taste like olive oil unfortunately) was nice and spicy. The lamb souvlaki was decent. The salad couldv’e been more generous. Also decent was my husband’s Lemon Chicken Rice soup. The place between tables was pretty tight. I’m not sure how the Tuesday evening Belly Dancer manages. We’d give a higher rating, but the service was uneven. The two servers didn’t seem to have set tables, so both took our orders and didn’t seem to communicate to each other who was doing what. We weren’t sure with whom to talk. The coffee was good and the baklava decent, though the bottom layers seemed compressed making it a bit gummy. Overall, we might give it another go, but it’s not high on our list of go-to places. We wish them well.

The atmosphere was lovely, the food very good, the service was rushed. Apparently reservations were booked too close together and they needed our table, even though we didn’t linger. Unfortunately, it influenced what would have otherwise been a nearly perfect experience.

Warm and welcoming from first to last. Every dish excellent. Dips and pita, beet salad, calamari, octopus, lamb shank, moussaka, salmon, baklava and rice pudding all top notch. Pretty place too. High recommend.

This restaurant is a real gem in Cotati and in all of Sonoma County. The food is delicious and very well prepared. I had the Moussaka and it was maybe the best I've ever had. My husband had lamb chops - they were very tender and nice flavor. And the fried Calamari is fabulous! Everything was great - the ambiance, the service, and the food - it made for a very nice dining experience.

Very good authentic food and wine. Service was very friendly and helpful. We took Yakut Turkish red wine, grilled cheese, octopus, lamb souvlaki, kunefe and Turkish black tea. Everything was very tasty. Greek music and decoration was also perfect.

We ate lunch at Mezzeluna this past Sunday and it was excellent! The food was tasty along with great service. Yannis was our server and she was attentive to whatever we needed. The Manager/Owner was walking around and checked on us as well. We started with 2 appetizers: Feta & Olives and Tzatziki with pita bread – both excellent. For the entrees, we tried the Chicken Gyro Plate (2), Beef & Lamb Gyro plate and Souvlaki Mix plate. There were 4 of us and we all thought our meals were delicious. The meat was moist and flavored well. We had recently traveled to Greece over the summer and the food is authentic & comparable. We will be back!
