We had an amazing time at Mezcalito. We had booked a table for two with the note that a quieter/corner table would be advantageous as my partner is partially deaf and on arrival the manager showed us to a lovely corner table and even asked if we would like the music turning down. This was fantastic service and is a lot more than other restaurants have done for us in the past so it was greatly appreciated. Throughout our meal the service was attentive and friendly, including giving us sombreros to wear and giving great recommendations for cocktails. The drinks were fantastic- particularly the picante cocktail made with salsa added a great depth to the drink and made the spice much smoother. In the tapas-style food the dishes were paced very well so we didn’t run out of space on the table, and each dish was absolutely fantastic in terms of flavour and still had great variety in terms of composition of the different dishes like quesadillas and tacos. We also enjoyed the cheesecake and churros desserts, especially the churros which were recommended to us and were perfectly hot and tasty along side the dulce de leche. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish at Mezcalito and couldn’t recommend it enough, what a lovely venue made particularly so by the staff working there.

Booked an outdoor table, supposedly this is a ‘suggestion’ and was instead given a dark indoor table. I’d suggest like any other normal restaurant booking system if you don’t have space outside don’t let people book an outdoor table. Food was okay, service long but okay.

Food is not the best but is mexican & reflected in the prices. Can easily walk past the venue unless you are familiar with it. I waited 15 mins for my friend & was not offered to order a drink. Overall very friendly staff & nice place.

Mezcalito is a place that I will definitely recommend to go to! The food is very good and the atmosphere is very friendly. It can be a family having dinner there but it can also be between friends. There are some days of the week where they organise Boardgames. I also really like the terrace of the restaurant! However, I would not suggest to book via Open table as the website does not take into consideration the bookings properly. Last time, I had tried to book a table for Mezcalito restaurant and it was appearing on Open table that the table would be available for 5 minutes and after the booking will be cancelled ...?!? when I arrived to the restaurant, no booking had been done...
