"Welcome to our home. Meyhouse is a casual place where family and friends get together over a drink, mezes, unique seafood, and grilled delicacies.
Our philosophy is unique in many ways. We have an ingredient first approach, which means we handle ingredients as minimally as possible through the cooking process.                                         The food was delicious and service was great. The staff was very knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu. We had the shrimp with artichoke, hummus with beef, salted fish, and octopus. The bread they offer is 10/10. We loved it so much we asked for some to go. We asked for spirit forward cocktails and were given just that. I will definitely be going back to try entrees.

                                        We had reserved an outdoor table because indoor was fully booked. However outside area wasn’t nice and we decided to sit at the bar. I kindly asked the staff to let us know if there was a no show within reservations and move us to a table if possible. Although there were at least two open tables (we were two and the tables were for two) within the whole time we were there, they didn’t move us.

                                        We had an amazing experience. It was a pre-fixe Valentine’s Day menu and each dish was delicious. One of the best Turkish restaurants in the Bay Area!

                                        Went there for Valentines pre fixe menu with drinks…. Over $500. Felt we were rushed and very noisy in addition to the very close paparazzi couple next to us who continued taking food photos and selfies with the flash on! We had to ask for our drinks after we got our correct appetizer (served the wrong one initially). Food was good but not worthy of the price and service. Dont plan to return any time soon.

                                        Food, service and live jazz quartet performance was fantastic. Outstanding was the grilled octopus, stuffed chicken and lamb chops. The 2 drink addition was good value; the Negroni was the best I had. Expensive but well worthy for a special evening.

                                        Loved the food, especially the kopoglu and bread. Baklava was delicious too. The hummus was too buttery in my opinion. The island chai drink was well balanced. It was quite noisy the day I went but otherwise would give this place a solid 4.5/5

                                        Excellent selection of authentic Turkish dishes, well executed and delivered with beautiful simplicity. Very gracious but efficient and professional and attentive service. Ambiance is lively and we loved the Turkish music at a level that still allowed for conversation at the table. Really enjoyed our evening and will be back!
