Located Lakeside on the Messina Hof Estate, our Tasting Room and Wine Bar offers an array of light bites, wine tastings, Tour experiences, and more! Soak in the sunshine on our Lakeside deck or catch up with friends over wine slushies in our Tasting Room.

Our 100-acre estate, of which 42 host the vineyard, is nestled in Bryan, Texas.In addition to the winery, the estate is home to The Villa bed & breakfast, The Vintage House restaurant and the Winemaster's Room wine bar. Tours and wine tastings are offered seven days a week. Our calendar of events is packed with cooking classes, wine appreciation classes, food and wine pairing seminars, murder mystery and winemaker dinners, and more!

We were not offered the complimentary bread and dip. When we realized it did not come automatically we ordered and it came just before the meal with not much time to enjoy with the wine. We ordered salads which we thought would come prior to the entries but did not. We ordered ribeye steaks but they were sold out and our only steak choice was top sirloin. There were at least two large parties and this may have affected the service we received. The server was friendly and nice but our overall experience was not good.

In its place, we featured a T-bone steak alongside our sirloin, and we hope that you were made aware of this option. Our server Tyler took great care of us. Our food was great but the steak was a bit overcooked. The garlic mashed potatoes and desserts will easily bring us back.

The table beside us was very loud! It totally messed with the atmosphere of a date night. Maybe place partitions to all more personal atmosphere for couples that did not want to hear a lot of screaming from 5 ladies.

Tori was our waitress. She was so sweet and made our experience fun. We both had the table side Caesar salad, spaghetti, and table side bananas foster. Everything was excellent!

The ambiance was marginal. The decor was sparse and dark. Lighting was stark. The food was adequate. My pasta was barely warm. I sent it back to be reheated. The taste of the pasta was good! The wine pairing with the pasta was excellent! My husband’s ribeye was tasty, the vegetable was very crunchy.

I took my wife for a dinner date. The food was excellent, as well as our server Ema. She ordered the Gorgonzola Steak Pasta and I had the Grilled Ribeye. For dessert she had the cheesecake and I had the bananas foster. We will definitely come again.

I’ve been here many times and they never disappoint. Polite staff and great food! I try to recommend to those looking for a unique and sophisticated experience in Bryan!
