    The ambiance was great for a fun, casual brunch with friends - Big open space with lots of light, friendly but not overbearing service. The food was good, nothing exceptional and a bit pricey. The beer and wine list was good and the brunch cocktails a hit.

    Food was good and service was prompt. Not an easy place to have a conversation as it's pretty loud. Portions were nice but I would have like more variety on my plate. Overall pretty good!

    We did the Restaurant week special $30 for 3 courses. I had the fig and pear salad to start- Delicious with a light vinaigrette the Grouper which was served over beans and greens. The fish was delicious, but the beans and greens were kind of bland. My husband had the rare beef with a potato gnocchi and it was outstanding. Beef was perfectly cooked and the gnocchi was very flavorful. The deserts were beautifully presented. Hubby had the crème brule, but it wasn't the best he's had. Can't comment on mine as I took it home-I was too full! :)I had walked by this place a few days ago and thought it would be fun/ lively, but truthfully it is a bit too loud for our tastes. The beautiful high ceilings allow all the noise in from the Market hall. Small but annoying thing: ordered a couple of gin and tonics (WELL brand) and a glass of wine with our food and it was $35.00 for the drinks. $10 each for small well brand seems steep

    I loved the restaurant! I was disappointed though that although I made a reservation through opentable and received a confirmation via email, the restaurant had no notification of my reservation. The hostess said this was not the first time this happened.

    Our family of four adults went there to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary and our youngest son's 40th birthday. We ordered the Sunday family style meal special and we were disappointed in both the preparation of the food and the quantity of the food. Some dishes were over-salted and not prepared up to the standards that the price would have suggested. While our waiter was very friendly and helpful and congratulated us on our special occasions but the restaurant did nothing to help us celebrate.

    We very much enjoyed our dinner at Mess Hall. Our experience was greatly enhanced by our attentive, knowledgeable and humorous server - Chris. We had the snapper and the hangar steak. The steak, although tasty, could have been warmer and was a tad under cooked. Cocktails and wine pairings were top notch. The place is relatively casual, very busy and pretty noisy. Tables for two are oddly sized and placed at perimeters, which seem extremely busy due to their proximity to a main walkway. Better to ask if a 4 top is available....
