El chef y propietario Peter Merriman ha trasplantado su versión de la gastronomía regional de Hawái a esta hermosa ubicación junto al océano en la localidad de Kapalua. Utiliza solo los productos más frescos, de los cuales como mínimo el 90% se producen o capturan en la zona, usando únicamente métodos sostenibles. Peter siempre ha estado a la vanguardia en el concepto "de la granja a la mesa". Toda la comida se prepara resaltando los sabores naturales de los alimentos. Cuenta con un personal muy amable que garantiza una experiencia culinaria increíble. Su conocimiento de los alimentos es uno de los mejores del sector. Todo esto se encuentra en el lugar más hermoso de la localidad, justo en el agua, donde se pueden contemplar los atardeceres más increíbles cada noche desde el bar de vinos situado frente al océano. Food and service was very good. It was Windy and cold. They did give the ladies a Shawl to keep warm. 4% added to bill for kitchen staff after a 20% tip

Miguel was very knowledgeable in the menu and cocktails. He took time to answer any questions and his energy was incredible along with his passion. The ambiance along with his exceptional service, made the end of our two week stay in Maui very memorable!! Cannot say enough of this menu and all wait staff!! 5 Stars ALL around!!!

It’s expensive. Sitting at the bar for dinner was loud and the server who brought our Caesar salads scampered away before adding the anchovies to the salad. The bartender was helpful in getting the anchovies from the kitchen. Food was delicious and well prepared. If service is important to you book a table.

Everything about Merrimen’s is first rate. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating, the service is great and the food from start to finish is outstanding. It’s definitely a splurge, but you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.

It was windy but the staff moved fast to shield us all before it rained. It was perfect as always - I think our guests were delighted!

We were seated in an outside area, under a cabana for dinner. The sunset was beautiful even in somewhat cloudy weather. The service team was great but the food was not. Some good of our fish dishes were overly dry. Our vegetarian meal was not very flavorful and the crudités were dried as it f they’d been prepped a day ago. We’ve been here on several other occasions, the last one was in 2023, and we weren’t overly impressed then but gave it a try because we felt everyone was still struggling from Covid shutdowns. We probably won’t return because although the setting is fantastic, the food is not for the price.

Fantastic dinner. Beautiful view. I have not been in a restaurant with this detail to service without feeling like I was in a stuffy or snobby restaurant. The food was amazing. Definitely going back again.
