El chef y propietario Peter Merriman ha trasplantado su versión de la gastronomía regional de Hawái a esta hermosa ubicación junto al océano en la localidad de Kapalua. Utiliza solo los productos más frescos, de los cuales como mínimo el 90% se producen o capturan en la zona, usando únicamente métodos sostenibles. Peter siempre ha estado a la vanguardia en el concepto "de la granja a la mesa". Toda la comida se prepara resaltando los sabores naturales de los alimentos. Join us for Valentine's Day dinner at Merriman's Maui! We are offering a 3 course prix fixe menu at $150 per person. All of our tables offer stunning ocean views. Tables will be seated from front to back, so we recommend booking our 4pm seating if your table location is very important to you. Location requests cannot be guaranteed. We will hold a table for you for 15 minutes past the reservation time. We ask that you limit your experience with us to 2 hours as a courtesy to the people waiting to be seated. If your plans should change, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation will incur a $150 no show fee.

On the spendier side, but the food was very good! We marked on our reservation that we were celebrating our engagement that just occurred the day prior. At the host stand they mentioned “oh I see that we are celebrating an engagement.” No congratulations or anything. The waitress never mentioned it once, and after she took our order we never saw her again until we asked for the dessert menu. Figured we would maybe receive a small dessert to celebrate, but we did not.

Everything was superb. We drove over an hour to get there and it was well worth it. Definitely a must!

Outstanding service and food and the sunset is spectacular from Merriman’s. Love this restaurant, it is one of our favorites. We will be back for sure!!!

Our night started with the thoughtful valet, reminding me about my sunglasses as we were about to experience the beautiful sunset from the property. The side yard gives you great views of Kapalua Bay Beach and Moloka’i. The gentleman hosting was very thoughtful and remembered our reservation like it was his only one this evening. We were seated a side area table and treated to the wonderful sunset and sweeping views of Kapalua. The service was impeccable, with staff coming around to refill water glasses and checking on us. There was no feeling of being rushed which reminded us of dining from a time gone by. Our meals were delicious, with the Poke being created at our table. The Taro Humus was creamy and a table favorite. Our main course were equally well prepared and tasty. Overall, we found this dinner out to be the highlight of our dinner experience while on Maui. A truly spectacular dinner but an even more impressive staff. A special thank you to Miss M for taking care of us during our visit. Well done all!

My wife and I had an unforgettable dining experience at Merriman’s Kapalua. Everything about the evening was perfect—exceptional food, top-notch service, and an ambiance that truly captures the essence of Maui. Our server, Leah, was fantastic! Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel so welcome throughout the meal. The attention to detail and the overall vibe of the restaurant made it a standout experience. We will absolutely be returning and can’t recommend Merriman’s enough to anyone looking for an incredible meal in Kapalua!

Spectacular setting; lovely from start to finish. Tim was a superb waiter. Back waiters were wonderful and exhibited such a positive attitude. But what else would you do when the restaurant is situated in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. Ultra special.

A must go to when in Maui. One of the best restaurants in Maui if not the best. Service, atmosphere, food all a 10, you will not be disappointed.

Would recommend several other restaurants for the price of this. VERY Expensive and the steak special you can get at less than half the cost at several other places on the island. Ambiance and sunset on point is incredible, but Food experience was disappointing.
