El chef y propietario Peter Merriman ha trasplantado su versión de la gastronomía regional de Hawái a esta hermosa ubicación junto al océano en la localidad de Kapalua. Utiliza solo los productos más frescos, de los cuales como mínimo el 90% se producen o capturan en la zona, usando únicamente métodos sostenibles.     Join us for New Year's Eve dinner at Merriman's Maui! We are offering a 3 course prix fixe menu at $225 per person. All of our tables offer stunning ocean views. Tables will be seated from front to back, so we recommend booking our 4pm seating if your table location is very important to you. Location requests cannot be guaranteed. We will hold a table for you for 15 minutes past the reservation time. We ask that you limit your experience with us to 2 hours as a courtesy to the people waiting to be seated. If your plans should change, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation will incur a $225 no show fee.

      Merriman’s has never let us down. We had meatless entrees and we both ate every bite. B ordered pasta from the Starters/Apps menu and I had a mushroom pot pie special. I struggle finding words to adequately describe the flavors, textures, and beauty of the pot pie. A blend of mushrooms and each flavor stood out. The crust was brilliant; absolutely perfect. The dough was stretched over a cast iron pie plate and it had risen probably 4” over the mushrooms inside. And the pastry was delicious. Honestly, a top 5 dining experience of a lifetime of fine food. But salads, yes. Off of the menu, but perfect. Generous portion of very fresh everything. I had the blue cheese crumbles on mine and B went without dairy. Mango, avocado, tomato, greens dressed with subtle citrus dressing. Perfect.

      We come to Merrimans at least once if not twice each trip. Previous times have been amazing!! This time they sat us outside under a patio. Lots of bugs and the waiter was not their normal quality. We ordered the special and he came back after a long time after we ordered, 45min - 1 hr and said they were all out. Wondering if he didn’t put the order in earlier. Going back on Monday and will ask for indoors and a better waiter/waitress.

      Absolutely one of our favorite places on Maui and in Hawaii to have dinner. The view is amazing, add a sunset and WOW! The food is spectacular and the Mai Thai’s are quite delicious. This is a don’t miss location on Maui but you likely need a reservation so plan ahead.

      Food was just okay. Portions are small. I had the shrimp dish and the spices were overwhelming to the seafood. Not a great balance.

      The fish special was overcooked and it felt like the waitstaff was hurrying us along so they could turn the table.

      Our holiday experience at Merriman’s was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and festive. The holiday menu had a wide variety of selections for every course along with some optional add-ons. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Highly recommend!

      Phenomenal! Every single staff member was exceptional, top to bottom - fantastic service. The food is five stars as well. Perfection. And the view? Not many places can do better! Merriman’s is just that wonderful! Highly recommend (yes, worth the drive from Wailea!!).
