Had a very early 4:45 reservation, pre-Orpheum. Got there 10-12 min prior to reservation. Understand all their tables are reserved, but whole left side of restaurant was empty. We’re told we’ll be seated in just a moment. 5-7 minutes later, as we are still standing by front door, ask why we can’t be seated. Told at that time need to clear a table. If that was the case, why not tell us that upfront. Had they seated us earlier, perhaps our tab would have been higher. Menu is very limited, which is fine, but we’ve eaten there a few times in past couple months, & while the atmosphere & location draws us back, the food is hit or miss. I’ve gotten trout twice (1st time was super dry), flank steak this time & the sticky rice was so salty & garlicky that I could barely eat it. I know flank steak can be chewy, but felt that I had to spit part of it out every other bite. Left over half my meal on the plate. The kale & farro salad is very good. Provided feedback to the manager on the hostess stand & he was rather defensive & a bit arrogant, explaining how they’ve been booked solidly for a year. Will they still be in another year, once the novelty wears off? Maybe, or like other places in Omaha, does the luster wear off when the standards slip or the menu becomes “stale”. We won’t be back for quite some time, based on this experience but will circle back in another 6 months or so to see where things stand.

Took my girlfriend on a date and had a great experience. Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was fantastic. Only thing was i thought the portions were a little small for the price.

Our first visit. Had heard good things about Memoir. Everything was delicious, service always made sure we were doing ok with out being annoying . Ready to go again

The food was excellent, the restaurant had a very elegant vibe and was beautifully decorated, and the staff were all very nice. could not recommend this place enough!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner including appetizers and dessert. The trout and salmon entrees were wonderful and we all enjoyed the panna cotta dessert. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. We can’t wait to go back.

Overall extremely good! We did have to wait at the bar but that’s because my boyfriend needed a booth. The booth was worth it, nice and cozy. Sushi was surprisingly good and steak melted in my mouth, yum. Service was top notch, very attentive server and the manager (I think) stopped by to check on us as well. Ambiance and layout of restaurant and bar is cool and you can see the kitchen at work. We will be back!
