The heritage site of the old Saanich Municipal Hall, is where the Med Grill calls home.
At 100 years old, the building holds generations of memories and history which we proudly showcase in the hallways of our restaurant. Committed to serving our community, we have been a local Victoria favourite since we opened in 1997.

Arrived at 7pm and had reserved a place in the corner so I could enjoy a quiet dinner with my date. The server was excellent, no rushing whatsoever (I later found out the kitchen closes at 8pm). Drinks were served promptly and dinner was hot and delicious, (I had the smoked chicken in cream sauce on pasta - very tasty). Then I notice most of the patrons were gone and that's when I found out it closes at 8pm,it was 8:15. She said, 'no rush, can I get you a cup of coffee'. We had a lovely evening and left at 8:36pm. I rarely if ever give a 20%tip - that night was the exception. I will go back for sure.

First time here for brunch. The meal was a little underwhelming and rather expensive. Rather boring presentation as well. Love the ambience though. First impression is lasting so more than likely won’t be back.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 course meal for our anniversary in December. All of the courses were delicious and just the right size portions for us. We couldn't finish our tasty desserts but enjoyed them. The service was great and courses arrived in a timely manner. It was a little noisy but everyone was in good holiday spirits so was fine. It is a very open concept layout so not surprising the noise level can be higher. This did not take from our experience and we would highly recommend according to our personal experience :)
