Maxwell's Bar & Grill abrió sus puertas a principios de 1980 y ha seguido creciendo al punto de ser uno de los restaurantes mejor establecidos en Convent Garden. Maxwell's sirve un menú de comida verdaderamente al estilo estadounidense, la cual incluye favoritos como filetes de primera calidad, hamburguesas, potato skins (cáscaras de papa rellenas con papa, carne y crema), surf 'n' turf (plato principal que combina mariscos y carne), pescado fresco y ensaladas ligeras. El restaurante cuenta con dos pisos en un lugar envidiable ubicado en James Street, en el corazón de Convent Garden. La decoración también es una alusión a los amigos del otro lado del charco, ya que cuenta con lujosas cabinas de cuero con luz neón en la pared. Las hamburguesas muy ricas. El servicio muy irregular: Buena acogida al principio, luego lentitud a la hora de servir y cobrar. La camarera, malencarada.

El servicio es malo. Tardan una eternidad para tomar la orden y otra eternidad para traer los alimentos. La comida es muy promedio, nada extraordinario.

Fantastic food and drink- really generous portions- we were stuffed- brought my daughter out a brownie with a candle for her birthday- would definitely recommend- service was fab and staff were lovely

We really loved the cornflake fried chicken with the sriracha butter for our starters and then we had the friend chicken burger for the main! It was amazing and would definitely recommend. We have already said we want to come back and try the ribs next and the chicken wings!

This is the 4th time I've been to Maxwells, and I won't be going back I'm afraid. They have crammed so many tables in down the end of the ground floor you are elbow to elbow with everyone and you can get up without bashing someone behind you. Just one or two less tables and it will beach better. Also, the service was not very good. You get your food checked at you and when you want something else or extra, it's blooming hard work getting someone's attention. Then when you done with your food they simply forget about you!! And honestly £80 for three burgars and three soft drinks is extortionate.

Maxwells is a very good time! Your guaranteed good service / tasty food with huge portions and great cocktails for the drinkers amongst us!! The music alone brought party vibes and dining for a birthday was a really good vibe! The host on 15/02/25 was amazing!! Great energy, lovely greeting with humour and really set the tone for the visit we had. Thanking him! I’ve visited Maxwell for years and wanted a ‘ol times’ sake re visit on this occasion and am really happy that after all these years the same vibe remains!! A visit appreciated and enjoyed and Maxwells will see me and my guests again sometime in the future …

Can’t fault the food or service. First time going, mac and cheese nibbles were amazing! Food was lovely, not a crumb left!
