The setting and view are beautiful. The food is not wonderful. I had fish and chips and the fish was extremely oily. The fries were dry and not very good. My husband's pork sandwich was good. The service was fine. The appetizer of pretzel bites with cheese dip was not very good. Overall, I think coming just for a drink and appetizer at happy hour might be the way to go.

We had a great table outside the waiter was very attentive and checked in often. We shared the steak nachos off of their happy hour menu and they were delicious.

Only open for one year, Maui Brewing Co. seems to be doing well at this location. Why wouldn’t it! Open view to Kaanapali Beach and Black Rock is what tourists want. Beer choices are excellent-lagers, ales, IPA, stouts. Happy hour is 3-5. Discounts on appetizers and beers. Good choices of entrees after 4:30. Sandwiches, fish tacos, and local fish plates. Reservations are recommended for dinner but you can get seated during happy hour without. Ask for railing or patio!

The burger was good ( not cooked to our request but still tasty) Don’t bother with the fries because they were not good - cold. Server only came to take our order then disappeared until she came back for the bill.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere after dining at the previous location in the strip mall. The service and food were excellent. I would lower the volume of the entertainment. Kaia was an excellent server!
