Nice place for a date night! Food and service were really good! Gluten free pasta was probably the best I’ve ever had!! Enjoyed the espresso martini with dessert.

Our first visit was in December of 2023. We now have a year long history of consistently exceptional dining at Matteo. The food is delicious, not overly fussy and tastes like love. Cocktails are amazing and I don't have adequate words for the desserts. You should try them all! The staff is super welcoming and engaged (much appreciation to Bruno, Elizabeth and Mirsad, for making it feel like home). The new location has taken things next level IMO and the added bonus of valet parking made all the difference last Friday when it felt like everyone was in downtown SLC.

Our waiter was over the top with the service ! My daughter has food restrictions and he made her food perfect ! The meal was delicious in every way . The bread was hot and soft and buttery , the special pasta was beefy but delicate , the Caesar crunchy and not wilted !

I love the new location, much bigger but it can also be a bit noisy and the lighting in the back room needs help. The waitress brought a table light, which was perfect. The food is fantastic. My buffalo short rib fell off the bone, slightly caramelised and delicious. Don't miss the brownie tiramisu. Not overly sweet and surprisingly light.
