We are a cosy pub in the middle of the Cotswold water park area - We have a country bar with open fire in the winter and tables on the village green for those sunny summer days.
Greg (Chef) and Vicki bring to The Masons Arms 20 years experience of running pubs and take pride in amazing food and customer service with Greg creating some classic but delicious pub favorites from Pork belly to local venison and a great vegetarian selection - and of course our mouthwatering burgers.

The food was lovely and good value. We ate early though so the atmosphere wasn't as good as it probably was later in the evening..service was okay, but lacked that extra spark to score more highly

Excellent and great value Sunday lunch. Food was very fresh piping hot and good portions. The Yorkshire puddings were light and fluffy and the gravy was delicious.

We chose the table in the bar area which was ideal for us being by the log burner. Cold day! As a result it was a bit noisy from time to time, nevertheless we preferred it to the restaurant option. We enjoyed a very successful reunion with our university’s friends from the 1960’s and the food was good and the bill reasonable. We’d come again.

I had the bread with sage butter and alio oil accompanied by olives first class For the main I chose sea bass both were very tasty and filling, portions are ample. Dining here again tonight looking forward to the experience.

We travelled over 15 miles to have Sunday lunch at the Maison Arms. We had visited before so we’re really looking forward to lunch. A young lad sat us down and took our order of a starter, main and drinks. The drinks came and then the main meal came ! We explained that we ordered a starter so the food was taken away, the waiter then returned offering the starter as a side dish with the main !!! Which we declined. There was a meeting of staff around the reception area in the pub and our main course was being held there. We were becoming very upset as it was clear our main course food was not going to be good. I requested that they cancel the starter and give us our main course. We thought the food would be freshened up and re-heated but it wasn’t. It was given to us cold. Enough was enough so we informed them we didn’t want to eat, the waitress said she understood and requested we just pay for the drinks which we had not drunk. We left and informed them that they had ruined our day and we would not be paying for the drinks that we had not drunk. Terrible terrible experience and our day was wrecked.

Service and food were both very good . Unfortunately we were then asked to leave the table (just under 2hours after arrival) we would have been happy to move into the bar / to another table but there was no room. This meant we had to leave before having coffee. Very disappointed as it meant that our meeting with friends was cut short very abruptly.
