The reception was very friendly and throughout the meal remained attentive. The food was excellent and very well presented with good size portions. We will definitely be visiting again

Good food with quick service. The children in the party were well looked after and everyone had a good time. Reasonable prices as well. Thanks.

We had a very lovely family meal here. The service was as excellent as the food. There's a great menu and everyone had something they enjoyed. We are already planning to go back in a few weeks time for a family celebration meal. It was quiet enough to hear each other talking which I much prefer when out eating. Ambience was great. Location is good also with plenty of parking

Very nice place to eat, well laid out but limited drinking area, more a restaurant than a pub. Food was top quality, service a bit hit and miss. Our waitress alternating between bar duty and dining area. Understaffed maybe? But we'd definitely return.

We have ate here a few times and have never had any issues. There is a great atmosphere, the staff are welcoming and smiley, the food is excellent.

Stopped for a roast dinner which was lovely. Really enjoyed the mini pudding too. The real joy about this pub is the staff who were absolutely fantastic.

Food was absolutely subpar. It looked fantastic, but as soon as you eat you realise the chicken is on the bone (on a roast?), the roasties were rock solid, the peas were so dried out I’m convinced they were air fried, and the ‘carrots’ ??? non existent. The Yorkshire pudding was the best thing about it. The raspberry and apple crumble was again, seemingly okay, but until you take a bite you realise it’s 99.9% mushed up raspberry, and a few oats sprinkled on top. It was a huge portion, with perhaps less than 10ml of custard for the whole thing. Not sure I saw an apple in the whole thing. The pub itself is really nice, I just find it odd that some of the menus didn’t have prices on? The staff were seemingly nice, until I overheard the manager(?) and youngest new member of staff talking - they were openly talking about lying to customers, and even shouted “I’m so great at lying” after getting off the phone with somebody. They were shouting at each other from the bar to the kitchen door, which made it incredibly annoying to sit there to have to listen to. We were seated in a very peaceful area, until the end of our meal (the entire pub was near empty) - a loud family with an unwell child was seated near us. The family openly talking about drugs and illegal money, while the child ran around knocking into my chair, all while complaining he felt sick. I haven’t been here in years, and I heard that it had changed and was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately my perception of this has already been ruined and I don’t think I will be returning.

Had a lovely lunch here with the family and our nervous dog. The staff were lovely and accommodated our request for a table out of the way to cater for our dog. Food was great and so we ended up eating three courses for lunch.

Realy friendly staff, beautiful food, reasonably priced. Calling it 'pub food" gives it an injustice, it was restaurant quality, at pub prices.
