   Recently enjoyed my experience for the Sunday Supper buffet. The food selections were exceptional. My guest and I couldn’t get enough of the chickpea dish and the bbq ribs melted on our tongues. However, we indulged a bit off the of spirits provided off of the cocktail menu. We had 3 drinks apiece, but left with ZERO buzz. I’m not sure if we have high tolerance, or the Uncle Nearest brand of whiskey was a lackluster selection. I am leaning toward diluted libations.

   Absolutely outstanding! We went for Sunday Brunch and we had a magnificent time. The buffet selection was the best I've ever tasted and was constantly replenished. I'm a vegetarian and there was plenty for me to eat. Mac and cheese and collard greens were so good. The meat eaters loved the gumbo, catfish and everything they tried. Staff members were friendly, fun and helpful. The DJ was fire! 10/10 recommend!

   They didn't have any plates, the service was non existent and the music was too loud to even hear the server when they were present. It used to be good but I was embarrassed to take my guests there this time. Never again.

   1. 1st seat selection was not good for a bookclub 2. Server was ok but could tell there were distractions and notification of unavailable drink options should have been given 3. Why are we having a buffet with appetizer plates? 4. Prior to making the reservation, I called to confirm we could spilt the payment among 6 people and was told yes, then told it’s not possible by server

   Our host and servers were both very personable and made us feel like guests at a family dinner. We got “the cookout” and shared between two of us with plenty left over. The food did take a while to come out, so I would recommend an appetizer. The cornbread was stunning and held us over for the main event. Music and ambience were delightful. It’s a very tasteful restaurant with great food and cozy atmosphere.

    Loved the ambiance/vibe of the restaurant and the menu offerings. However, the service- The waitress was nice and helpful but very forgetful, not attentive and slow, and did not come back to check on the table. Not a good value for the price of the the food. I had the brisket it was mid at best with what tasted like jar gravy with some season added to it, the brisket was cooked nicely but a few pieces were served on a small saucer with some red peppers on top. Maybe 2 1/2 half slices. That it only a few pieces of meat. I had the mac and cheese and at best a 2.5 out of 5, nothing special. The cornbread was cornbread with butter. One member of my party had the mac and Cheese with brisket on top, she said her brisket tasted much better than my entre' brisket. Would I go back... Probably not. For 30.00 and a saucer of meat and a small skillet of food that was "mid". If you plan on going I would not go hungry and expect to leave full without ordering several overpriced sides.
