    We went for my husband’s birthday and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was great along with the food. We enjoyed the tasty Cajun jambalaya with red snapper topped with greens. The music definitely added to the experience. We will be back for sure for a date night. This place is so laid back and comfortable that a person could actually sit at the bar and just chill with a drink and laptop. I would encourage everyone to try it and don’t forget to order the banana foster bread pudding!!

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maple Tree Inn and it was a delightful experience! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a casual yet refined atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff were attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. To start, I ordered the Pitmaster’s Gumbo, a Creole-style dish in a traditional brown roux with okra, featuring andouille sausage, smoked chicken, pulled sparerib, and brisket. The rich flavors and hearty ingredients made it a standout starter. My boyfriend opted for the Seafood Gumbo, which included shrimp, crawfish, clams, mussels, fish, calamari, and crab in a flavorful brown roux with okra and tomatoes. Both gumbos were exceptional and showcased the depth of flavors characteristic of authentic Cajun cuisine.  For the main course, I chose the Southern Fried Catfish. The Louisiana catfish fillets were coated in seasoned flour and deep-fried to a golden brown, served with a Crystal Hot Sauce® aioli, Cajun rice, and garnished with a roasted cabbage slaw. The catfish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with the accompaniments complementing the dish beautifully.  My boyfriend selected the Fried Chicken, consisting of boneless chicken thighs lightly dredged and flash-fried, drizzled with honey jezebel sauce, and served with pancetta gravy, baked mac n cheese, and a pickled greens garnish. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sides provided a delightful balance of flavors.  To accompany the meal, I enjoyed one of their signature handcrafted cocktails, which was both refreshing and well-balanced. The drink menu offers a variety of options, including boutique wines on draft and an impressive selection of craft beers, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

    Our waiter Adam was excellent. The food was great. The cocktails were great. But the whole experience was disappointing. we were at at a table that only accommodated two people. Barely enough room for drinks let alone food. In addition to the small size of the table, we were located right outside an area with a lot of employee traffic by the bathrooms. When I asked the hostess if we could have a bigger table, she said there weren’t any available for the rest of the evening. Yet the three tables behind us that were tables for four were sat with just two people after we arrived. As well as a table set for eight sat empty for almost our whole dinner They want a credit card to hold the reservation, food and cocktails are expensive. Our check was over $260 with tip. And that’s the experience? We have been going to maple tree inn since it was located on western ave. I’m going to think twice about going to dinner there again

    Great Cajun spot with delicious food, a welcoming ambiance, and just the right noise level for a business meeting. Service was outstanding—efficient, friendly, and on point. We handled business, enjoyed our meal, and left impressed. Highly recommend!
