We arrived early for our table so we were told to wait in the bar area (which was absolutely fine) I went to the ladies toilet, on my way down the stairs I noticed a horrible smell, it smelt dirty and damp. I had to wait for a cubicle to be free as the other toilet door lock was broken, I looked around the downstairs restaurant room whilst I was waited, there was black mould all over the walls, the cutlery set on the tables were dirty and had sauce on them. The toilets were absolutely disgusting aswell. And as I walked past the kitchen on my way back upstairs I saw how disgusting that was too. I grabbed my partner and we left. This place needs their hygiene checking. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t even make it that far.

Start of meal somewhat spoilt by someone on next table having a very long phone call on speaker! I did mention it to the waiter and he just said ‘she’s making a phone call. I think he should have ask her to take it off speaker. Otherwise it was a good.

We were seated on the back deck which overlooked the city. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

This is our regular Indian restaurant and it never disappoints - great menu service ambience and value !

The food at Mantra was excellent and attractively presented. The service was good but a little slow. There was only one person manning the bar, taking orders, and serving the food.

Restaurant was closed so turned up outside an empty restaurant without having been informed…hence the rating.

Overall the food was very nice but did take a long time to come (other tables were served before us when they arrived after) and had to chase a couple of times unfortunately.

Food was lovely fresh hot Service was goods Rather give a tip than have a service charge on bill Sat by door not main resurant was cold and people walking by in and out I'm sure if sat in main restaurant experience would have been excellent And we did book so not a walk in
