Mama Delia, located in Chicago's Wicker Park, is a modern Spanish restaurant and sherry bar offering a fresh take on what is happening in Spain today.

Mama Delia is a celebration of the authentic culture of Spain, today. Via our frequent trips to Spain each year, we are able to experience first-hand the cultural shifts this dynamic country undergoes and bring those flavors and culinary traditions back to Chicago.

Led by Chef Marcos Campos, our menus showcase the exquisite regional products of Spain with dishes that are ingredient-driven and nostalgic. Following Chef Marcos’ lead, desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Shannah Primiano combine classic Spanish sweet dishes with her more contemporary methods and intriguing ingredient pairings. The award-winning beverage team, led by industry vanguard Brian Sturgulewski, has built Mama Delia’s bar program around the inimitable versatility of sherry, not only as a world class wine but also as a cocktail ingredient without parallel.

Nice ambience and friendly staff. Beef paella was very salty. Food overall was ok.

It was a perfect dinner for 7 that had us nestled in the back room in front of the kitchen. Everything was delicious and the cocktails were magical.

The food is great, we were at an awkward time where our server took our order then clocked out. The next server never really took care of us our food was cold but it was not very busy. Never checked on us. The busboys were more attentive.

Really disappointing experience. Mama Delia's used to be one of my favorite restaurants, especially having lived in Spain knowing what true tapas y Paella should taste like. I was so excited to take my husband for a special birthday dinner - but the service was awful. Took 1.5 hours only for them to tell us they totally forgot to put in the Paella. This is and 20+ min for drinks and nearly an hour for any food to come out at all. The waitress apologized but there was still a mandatory 18% tip. No manager came to see us. Not even any bread to say sorry. I'd talked Mama Delia up to several friends...no more.

The timing made for a poor experience. One of our wines took 20 minutes to receive and then every single thing we ordered arrived at the same time. Some of the food was cold by the time we got to it. I’m not sure if the temperature ruined some of the dishes but the food was just ok.

Cozy restaurant. The Spanish coffee was amazing. The food was really good, but kinda over priced in my opinion. We did the vegetable paella and it was tasty and had great seasoning. I think it could of used more vegetables in it for the price you pay. The meat/seafood paellas are overpriced by a landslide. I would come again for shareables and drinks! And upstairs was so much fun afterword. I would definitely still recommend!

Mama Delia in Chicago is a fantastic Spanish restaurant that truly captures a fresh take on Spanish food with the essence of traditional cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the vibrant decor and warm ambiance make you feel right at home. The menu is filled with delectable options, and every dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors. While the paella was a highlight—rich, aromatic, and filling... The Matrimonio paired with a beautiful Albarino really wowed us! The service was attentive and friendly, with staff eager to offer recommendations and ensure a wonderful dining experience. Whether you’re a fan of Spanish cuisine or just looking to try something new, Mama Delia is a must-visit. It’s a delightful spot for a casual meal or a special occasion!

We had a really nice dining experience and Mama Delia. Ordered several tapas which were delicious and the Paella which was good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is lovely and really great music. Perfect way to start off our evening.
