Welcome to Majorelle, the first authentic Moroccan restaurant in Budapest! In our culture, food is revered and cherished, seen as more than just sustenance. We believe in serving dishes crafted with the freshest and most sustainable ingredients, as we understand the vital role food plays in nourishing the human body.

Our inspiration comes from the renowned Majorelle park, a place steeped in history and beauty. The park, which took over 40 years to create, was later acquired by the fashion icon Yves St Laurent, who transformed it into an iconic destination. At Majorelle restaurant, we strive to capture the essence of Morocco and transport it to Budapest and beyond.

Our goal is to bring you an authentic taste of Morocco, allowing you to embark on a culinary journey that will leave a lasting impression. Join us at Majorelle, where we celebrate the art of Moroccan cuisine and share it with the world.

New Year's Eve dinner. My friend and I arrive, they tell us that there is a table available upstairs but after a few minutes they make us sit in a place with freezing air conditioning. We ask to change tables and after half an hour they move us. From that moment they start to serve us very slowly, one dish on the menu (lentils) was finished and they told us they would give us a discount but this was not the case and they did not offer us anything in exchange. At midnight, after two and a half hours of sitting, they still had to bring the dessert. They didn't offer us prosecco to toast as they did for other customers, and they invited us to leave as soon as possible because the place was closing, but in reality there were still many people sitting. Maybe our only mistake was being tourists. Bad experience, I don't recommend it at all.

Hi Sofia, We are truly apologetic that you didn’t enjoy the experience with us. If you have the time, I would appreciate if you can give us another visit and I’ll make sure that everything is properly taking care of and addressed. I’m surprised that you might feel that you’re a tourist because we take care of all our customers the same way, similarly I remember that personally I offered you the Prosecco and you refused. Anyway, again, please accept our apologies for missing the note with you and do let me know if we can make it better by any means

Our New Year's dinner at Majorelle was absolutely brilliant. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff for their exquisite cuisine, delightful drinks, and exemplary service marked by politeness and attentiveness. Our dining experience was exceptional, and we couldn't have imagined a better venue to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.

Our New Year’s Eve at Majorelle was truly a highlight. The six-course menu impressed us with its fantastic selection of Moroccan dishes, all prepared with great attention to detail and delivering authentic flavors. As a vegetarian, I was delighted by the excellent alternative options. The restaurant’s stylish decor and the friendly, attentive service made the evening perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Majorelle and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for this beautiful New Year’s Eve! 🚀✨

Perfect for dates! Drinks are special, tajin and salads are outstanding, the service is welcoming and professional. Place is very stylish but also exotic, clearly modern but there is a warm vibe. Enjoyed every moment.

This place was incredible! The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and the ambience was very calm and peaceful. Definitely recommend for a date night or girls night. They even let us split the bill! Will definitely be going back, this is a hidden gem and will soon be very popular🩷

I grew up with my family’s moroccan cooking, this was the first place in Budapest I went to that felt authentic! Wonderful food and atmosphere, service is impeccable, and the price is reasonable:)
