Of course the food and restaurant are awesome. It’s not just extension of the food truck, the food and menu are well thought out, and the service is awesome. You will not be disappointed..

I had the best experience there. Nick recommended the Naked and Afraid cocktail that had UnMomento Mango Mezcal and it was 10/10!!

Maiz De La Vida is excellent ! It was a delicious dining experience that exceeded expectations. It is one of the few new Nashville restaurants that I’ll return to. My husband travels to Mexico frequently and said it reminded him of food from Mexico City, authentic, well seasoned, just enough spice. I highly recommend!

The food and service here were fantastic! The salsas and guacamole was flavorful and the street tacos were delicious. The elite was the best I’ve ever had. Our server was incredibly helpful and provided great information and recommendations. My one quibble is with the community tables. Your experience is SO dependent on who you get sat next to. The first group we were seated by was a large group who was really loud, so it felt weirdly like we were at their table. Not fun and we had a hard time hearing each other because the atmosphere is very loud and those at the communal table were very loud. Once that group left, a few other couples were sat at the table, and this experience was much better. We enjoyed visiting with them a bit, but everyone was also able to have their own conversations. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our experience, but wish we’d known that they only serve brunch on Saturdays. It would be helpful for the restaurant to have menus posted on their website.

Overall really enjoyed this place! Food was so good! Service wasn’t present… and community style tables are something to expect unless you have a large group

Food was fantastic. And there’s a good range of moderately priced to higher end dishes. The grits and mole - duck were a highlight.
