   We went for the R&B Brunch and the experience wasn’t as great as we’re used to. The sound system had issues, so the event was delayed over 30mins and then the whole energy was off the entire time. Too the photos was offline and we were able to see our photos til the following day. We’ve done the Brunches now like 5 times and this time around was just not the best experience.

We did have an issue with the sound system but did our best to save the event, our sound system has now been fixed. The photo booth was a complimentary addition brought in for the Love Jams Brunch - depending on the photo booth vendor processing times may vary. We're glad to hear that you've had previous experiences with us and we appreciate your patience.    The concept of trivia and a great movie was spot on. We had a blast. The food was mediocre at best. Waste of money. Not enough people serving. They did the best they could, but I am sure they could have used a couple of extra hands.

   I went to a special event, Rewind Brunch, the Dj (dj tag) was amazing playing all the throwbacks! However, the server helping the waitress, delivered our food and spilled the syrup container ON MY CLOTHES AND THE CHAIR! The whole experience went downhill with POOR customer service from there. The syrup spill was cleaned by us with our napkins from the table, the guy cleaned the floor with those napkins left it a sticky mess, didnt offer to switch the chair that was dripping syrup. I switched it myself with a chair that was left on the side. The guy never returned to completely clean the mess, floor stayed sticky and still had some syrup. Due to space around us this was the only side of the table we could sit at without blocking anyone from passing or feeling too crowded. That server was no where to be found again, didnt replenish our napkins used for the mess so, we had none while eating. With my feet up on the base of the table to avoid future mess on my outfit. The DJs significant other came and noticed the mess and asked what happened, since the guy and waitress were no where to be found she went directly to the manager who said she would talk to us and help fix the situation. Never showed, and now nearly finished with our food, our waitress came to check on us and we let her know what had happened she couldn’t believe it and said she would send the manager over because its not acceptable. Even then she STILL didnt show up. I understand they had a full house and things were hectic but customer service and mistakes like this should never happen especially following up with a situation as such. There way of “fixing” the situation without speaking with us was just giving us a free drink. Do better Mainzer Staff. Little did they know I was one of their sponsors for an upcoming brunch event and for being a terrible first time experience I may have to reconsider. I would hate to sponsor a place if someone else received the same service.

   Hi Karina, We're so sorry to hear that your visit to the Mainzer was negative. I apologize for the syrup that was spilled and cleaned up hastily. These free to attend brunches are one of our most high traffic events that we host and we appreciate your understanding in the matter. All our brunches are handled independently between the DJ and Mainzer. Please be wary of any third party requesting a "sponsorship" as they are not run by us and do not hold any legitimacy. We hope to give you a better experience in the future!

   It was a nice place for a fun date night with my husband. It's conveniently located downtown which is very close to my house which makes it an easy fun place to visit.

   The artwork inside is cute and nice to look at. Our table, which was located where you can't see it and can't see any of the artwork, might as well be located by the backdoor. The fact that we were visiting with old friends, allowed us not to notice. The food was great! All four of us all were satisfied with taste and the amount of food on our plates.

    The service was good and they fixed mistakes once identified. The experience was great with showing Friends and trivia. The chicken and waffle is not as it used to be.
