Main Street Bistro and Bakery combines French elegance with a casual dining experience in the heart of Historic Downtown Grapevine. Our dinner service boasts some of our favorite French dishes like Mussels and Duck Confit and American classics like Short Ribs and Shrimp and Grits. Enhance your dining experience with a signature cocktail or a glass of Bordeaux. And don’t forget to try one of our famous desserts, handcrafted daily by our Executive French Pastry Chef!

We serve Weekend Brunch Saturday and Sunday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Brunch is available for walk-ins and waitlist only; no reservations for Weekend Brunch.

    Chez Fabian a wonderful restaurant in grapevine is one of our favorites. We were there to celebrate a birthday and they give you a wonderful surprise at the end of the dinner. Great restaurant

    I believe we have found our new favorite restaurant. We are already saying we can't wait to back again. We love a place that has delicious food and live entertainment!

    The restaurant is lovely, service was good, but they were out of what I ordered and was truly hoping to have and the dish I got instead I think had cheese or cream used that had gone bad as it made me sick later and didn’t taste great to begin with so I only ate a few bites. Our party also has soups and steaks that were decent, but everything was so salty it was hard to really enjoy…food ended up being left on the table because it was too salty. Which made the value less than in our opinion. Not sure if we got an off night, but it was crowded so doesn’t seem that it is a consistent issue.

    Ordered artichoke dip for app when seated.. didn’t receive it until AFTER we received entrees. If that wasn’t bad enough, they still charged us for it. Food was avg. wife’s chicken dish was pretty dry. Usually have better experiences when going here but definitely not this time

    The service was professional and unobtrusive. The wine selection is very good. I had a very nice cote-du-Rhône, my wife had an excellent Pinot Grigio. We ordered the shrimp and calamari appetizer. It came with 2 dipping sauces. The breading was not well adhered. Both the shrimp and calamari were just a bit bland and there was a dissatisfying amount of tasteless vegetables included. The dipping sauces were tasty. The crab cake was Excellent. One of the best I’ve ever had. The romalade sauce was also very good. I ordered the Rib Eye with bacon wrapped scallops. It was ordered medium rare but was served medium. I thought about sending it back but it wasn’t a great piece of meat so I didn’t think it was worth the hassle. The scallops were fresh. They would have been better with slight more caramelizing. The sauce was watery. The vegetables were quite well prepared.

    Overall food was decent but not a "wow we are definitely coming back.". The atmosphere was nice, service was very friendly and prompt. They have an attached bakery next door. Now that was definitely worth coming back for. Delicious!
