Offered up a dreadful table by the toilets on arrival despite the restaurant not being full. The two seater tables means one person looks at a wall.

I have mixed feelings about my visit. To begin with, the entrance could use attention—descending a flight of stairs to that covered thing there? What is it ? However, once inside, the ambiance is much better, with characterful features like the interesting door frames , hide outs rooms, a lighting atmosphere and an impressive art wall. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the two young hostesses at the front. They lacked professionalism and organizational skills. I arrived at 5:55 PM, and instead of checking me in, they told me they weren’t seating yet and asked me to wait , why open the door then ? So , at 6 PM, chaos ensued. They didn’t check guests in by order of arrival, creating unnecessary confusion. Adding to this, we were seated at an uncomfortable table in the corridor by the bar. This setup was especially unsuitable since I was dining with a 13-year-old. I requested a change, particularly since there were many empty tables at that time, but the manager dismissed my concern, claiming it was the busiest night. Strangely, when I left at 8 PM, many of those same tables were still unoccupied. On a positive note, the service was excellent. Nacho, one of our servers, was particularly attentive and accommodating. Regarding the food, it was a mixed bag. The salmon crispy rice lacked flavor and something felt off, but the hamachi was fantastic, and the prime tenderloin was good as well. Overall, the disorganization at the front desk left a sour note at the start of our evening. Improved training for the hostesses and a more guest-centered seating approach could significantly enhance the experience. First impressions matter, and this initial mishap set the wrong tone for an otherwise decent outing.

Very cool spot - good was delicious - music pumping but is a great European way - owner is French and you can tell - perfect cool restaurant experience with cool vibe - LOVED it!!

Beautiful restaurant with a chic intimate club like atmosphere. Beautiful food preparations. The service was wonderful as well. It is quite pricey, but this is probably to be expected in Aspen.

The flavors were great and the small plates decent value. The scallop was a huge disappointment! The chicken breast (what about brining?) was dry…we didn’t finish it. Skirt steak very good and we ordered the truffle sauce which was more of a gravy…not worth the extra $$. I liked the short ribs. All in all, okay, though, in my opinion, not much bang for your buck!

I do not eat seafood came here with a friend for her to get some apps before dinner. The drinks however were great

We loved Madame Ushi. The food was delicious, the wait staff were attentive and friendly. The food came out a bit too quick (we would have liked to enjoy the evening a little longer) but otherwise 5 star! Everything we ordered was delicious!

Very nice, warm atmosphere. Attentive service. Food, is extremely pricey for less-than-average quality. Recommend as a spot to meet up with a group for the atmosphere, and where cost is of no concern and no one is really interested in eating, but loves good service.
