For the multi-course menu items, all members of your party must choose the same option please.

Our Traditional Omakase is the most casual of our experiences. Guests start with a seasonal salad and then proceed to 10 pieces of chef's choice fish and vegetable tempura. After tempura, guests will enjoy a final dessert course of housemade ice cream. Flavors vary often but are always delicious. This is the best option for guests who are going to a show or event in town! Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions are encouraged to contact us with any questions at 919-748-3874.

Our M Omakase is a 7-Course experience that cannot be found anywhere else. Guests start with three small plates including Tuna Tartare, Crudo, and Savory Chawanmushi. They then proceed to 8 premium tempura pieces such as Lobster Tail from Maine and Scallop topped with Golden Kaluga Caviar. After tempura, guests will enjoy a final entree course of miso-marinated seabass over rice with house-cured salmon roe, nori, wasabi, and pickled daikon. Finally, guests will finish with a unique housemade dessert. Desserts vary often but are always delicious. Kaiseki Omakase requires 24 hours advance notice. WE CANNOT HONOR SAME-DAY REQUESTS. Kaiseki is a traditional multi-course Japanese meal that uses different cooking methods in each course. Our adaptation of the Kaiseki focuses on seasonality and locality of ingredients. It includes 10 Unique courses that the chef may adjust according to seasonal availability. Amazing dining experience for my wife and I. Would recommend sitting at the bar if able, so you can watch the chefs work. They were focused yet extremely nice and happy to answer any questions you had . Definitely will return.

~THE BEST BITE~ As a Top Chef fan (and a Savannah superfan), I knew taking my family of 4 for the M Omakase would be a treat. And yet, I left blown away; the ambience, service, and most importantly food were a 10/10!!! As a foodie traveler with over a dozen Michelin star restaurants under my belt, M Tempura earned its place as one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. - Nuts and Bolts: a made an OpenTable resy for 5p on Friday about a week in advance; there were just a couple other slots at 7/8p; easy street-side free parking; we opted for a table experience for the ease of conversation but would have equally enjoyed sitting on the bar, face to face with the chefs - Ambience: upscale casual, perfect for date night or any other special occasion - Food: UNBELIEVABLE. Every course from the chawanmushi to the ginger ice cream dessert was well-paced, complementary, and filled with beautiful story-telling. A friend had came averse to uncooked seafood and was sold by ever course - BEST BITE: such a tough call, as everything was meemorable, but the dolma (shiso leaf, kimchi, almond dukkah) ultimately takes the win. So unique yet comforting, with the perfect balance of umami, sweet, and sour... we had to request a few additional pieces to go ($4 each)!! If I lived in the area, I'd certainly be back monthly.

The service and all was lovely. I just was confused about some of the dishes that were lukewarm/cold that I felt could have been better actually hot. We had the omakase and the tempura was great. I think the final 'meal' dish of a lovely piece of sea bass did not hit for me it was cold and not sure if it was meant to be that way and salted in a way that I could not eat it at all. I guess not everything is for everyone and thats okay.

This was my first time at M Tempura--and definitely not my last. I look forward to my next visit. I enjoyed a very early reservation (5pm!) when the restaurant was quiet and calm which meant that I could hear the server and the chef easily. I appreciated this atmosphere for my first dining experience at M Tempura. The scallop tempura (divine!) and the brie cheese tempura (inspired!) were the highlights for me, as well as the banana/chocolate ice cream for dessert at the end. Paired with the yuzu sake, this dessert course was absolutely delightful!
