With a contemporary, modern Australian menu highlighting the finest locally sourced ingredients and complemented by impeccable service, the Lyrebird is the perfect place to start your evening at QPAC. Delve into a special menu highlight showcasing the rich flavours of Italy with a selection of signature pasta dishes, curated by our Michelin-trained head chef, Salvatore Rizzato, from Rome, Italy. This unique collaboration skillfully blends tastes from his homeland with a Queensland inspired twist, expertly prepared by our passionate chefs at Lyrebird under his guidance.

For matinee goers, you can enjoy a delicious touch of elegance with a handcrafted Lyrebird High Tea, before your show. $25 per person or $30 per person including a glass of bubbles. Available only for select matinee shows.

The food is always good. Unfortunately, this time our food was not hot. Going to a show so didn't complain. We only drank water and had to ask for refill. No bottles of water allowed on the table. The passionfruit and berry desert was the best part of the meal.

Excellent food as always. Love the new menu. Service was slower than usual between entree & main but as pre-theatre experience it is perfect

I have enjoyed the Lyrebird high tea on several occasions but the finger sandwiches were the best I have had. Great value for money. The noise level was higher than usual due to the number of participants. Service is always excellent.

The High Tea was very good , nice selection of treats and with a glass of bubbles and coffee , was good value .Staff were very nice.

Although the food was good when we eventually received it, we waited nearly one hour for our order to arrive. This spoiled the evening, particularly as we had a concert to get to at 7.30pm. We never experienced this under the old set menu regime.

This iconic QPAC restaurant sets a phenomenal standard for Brisbane eateries. It is unpretentious, the quality of food and its presentation would match and surpass some of the most acclaimed restaurants in Australia and dare I say Europe and North America. As for the service - magnificent!

Wait staff should have knowledge of what sides come with the meal, almost paid an extra $9 for a rocket and cheese salad. $9 for a bowl of chips is also overpriced, they should be included with the steak. Ambience is non existent.
