For matinee goers, you can enjoy a delicious touch of elegance with a handcrafted Lyrebird High Tea, before your show. $25 per person or $30 per person including a glass of bubbles. Available only for select matinee shows.

Very was nice place however, when I asked about the set menu, which is here on open table I was told that I went to the wrong website or an old website. When I said, the only way I can book a table is through open table and I looked at the menu on open table and it clearly has a set menu option, I was told that it no longer existed. The management on the night was quite rude about it. I won’t be going back here.

We have eaten at Lyre Bird on a number of occasions when attending QPAC, and we have always been very happy. On this occasion, service at the beginning of service was very efficient and face, but after our 1st Place, we waited nearly an hour for our main and need to ask the Maître how long our meal was going to be. We understand that there were different shows with different start times, and people attending earlier shows get fed in order to leave the restaurant in time to attend he show, but, when people enter the reassurance after us and leave before, one wonders what is happening. We did make our show in plenty of time. Also, although my wife’s fish was lovely p, moist and delicious, just how she likes it, my duck was on the dry side. I suspect as it had been sitting on the shelf under the heat lights waiting on the fish, which was served very hot and steaming. I have had the duck before and it was succulent, which is why I ordered it again. On this occasion, we were a little disappointed with the service and food. We are booked into Lyre Bird for another upcoming show, so we are hoping for better service and food.🤞

This night was about the wonderful service by Hamish. From our greeting/table/farewell, he was professional, efficient and engaging. Our food was enjoyed by all. I love this restaurant.

Definitely recommend and will definitely return, lovely venue, convenient for dining before a show, great tasty meal, table of 3 were very satisfied with steaks and fish and veggies, very efficient service. Was a very busy night last night, only thing that could be improved on was it was very noisy and hard to hear conversations, maybe some sound diffusing could help or a section for people who want a more intimate experience.

Always a lovely place to have dinner. Would never eat anywhere else when seeing a show at QPAC.
