Good value for money, good size portions. Food arrived hot and staff were very helpful and friendly. Went above and beyond for my dietary needs for gluten free. The Eton mess was the best I’ve had . Steak cooked to perfection. All in all a wonderful evening.

Food fantastic , everything we ordered over the two days was cooked to perfection and very very very tasty. I am sorry to say, as I note it has been said before, this fabulous place is let down bye a few, not all ,of its waiting staff. They newer ones are clearly not being properly trained, and some seem happy to watch others run around whilst they do very little. We would both come back for the outstanding location and the beautiful food.

We dined one evening whilst staying at the resort. It was extremely quiet (a Monday evening). The food tasted lovely. We ordered a steak which was lukewarm / cold by the time it reached us which was odd considering how quiet the restaurant was. None of the waitresses came up to us to ask how the food was and didn’t even ask when they came to take the plates away, we didn’t feel we had the opportunity to raise the issue with the steak being cold. The food despite not being not being particularly warm tasted amazing and we’d probably would give Milk Wood House another go.

What a beautiful venue. Absolutely stunning! Staff were exceptional, friendly and courteous. Food was beautifully presented , compliments to the team of chefs! Food was outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit! Thank you for a lovely day

This place has so much potential but under resourcing and overly decadent menu meant that it isn’t maximising its opportunity. Keep the menu cost effective, simple and pay staff more and this place could thrive. Seriously needs someone to look at it with a critical eye. We won’t go back and I fear that many would feel the same. A shame though as it’s a beautiful setting

Arrived before the beakfast rush at 0945. Good job, however our service was excellent. Portions good and food wonderful.
