El LuxBar está inspirado en el trabajo de Adolf Loos y de su "bar estadounidense", que fue diseñado y construido en Viena a principios del siglo XX. El bar transmite elegancia a través de la simplicidad, un estilo que influyó enormemente en la obra de Frank Lloyd Wright y otros arquitectos estadounidenses de la "escuela de la pradera". La presencia de la piedra, el vidrio, el latón y la madera bañada de luz natural en la zona es marcada y apreciada. LuxBar fue diseñado como un bar de la zona para transmitir esa misma elegancia sencilla. La comida es agradable, fresca, natural y sencilla. El menú de estilo artesanal refleja una abundante variedad de platillos que el restaurante considera perfectos para degustar en todo momento. Los cocteles de la casa se preparan con ingredientes frescos y naturales, es decir, con una elegancia sencilla. El personal de LuxBar está entrenado para brindar a los clientes el mismo servicio legendario que ha hecho famosos al Gibson Steakhouse y al Hugo's Frog Bar. hostess was rude to my brother when he first got there, my citrus cured salmon was either gross or just not my cup of tea, my brother never got the toast that was supposed to come with his skillet.

We made a reservation for 7pm and waited a half hour to be seated. It then took 15 minutes for us to get a waitress and then the drinks came much after the food. We’re very disappointed and likely won’t be back

Luxbar was slammed last night, but Alicia, our server, really came through. Despite the chaos, she was remarkably attentive and friendly. It’s rare to find that level of service on a night like that. She managed to keep our table running smoothly, even with the constant influx of people, and her recommendations were solid. Honestly, her efficiency and positive attitude made the whole experience way better than it would have been otherwise. Definitely a solid spot, and Alicia deserves a shoutout. Glad I came here for my friend’s birthday.

Despite a wait due to a crowded environment, I was thoroughly impressed by how Ryan and his team handled the situation. Although our reservation seemed to have fallen between the cracks, your dedication as the general manager did not go unnoticed. Your efforts to rectify the situation were commendable, and it truly enhanced our overall experience at Luxbar. We were in town for a convention and a group of 11 dined here. The food was superb, the ambiance was gorgeous, and a time was had by all. Each of us walked away fat, full and satisfied. Most had steak, that was cooked to perfection. The French onion soup packed a punch, the drinks were scrumptious. This is a much dine when you're in the Chicagoland area.
