The menu honors Cantonese classics with dishes like Xiaolongbao and Char Siu Bao, while creative offerings such as Foie Gras Blackberry Dumplings with Brown Butter Miso Crumb showcase culinary innovation in this celebration of Chinese American fare. A deep champagne and wine list complements the menu, and at the 14-seat Pink Italian Stone bar, classic cocktails are shaken up with unique spice combinations and Asian-produced liquors, like a Manhattan riff “Doyer’s Street” made with Chinese five-spice infused Bourbon and Fernet Michaud from Portland, ME

We had a great experience at Lucky Cheetah. The staff were fantastic, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was really cool. It’s like a Chinese-themed speakeasy! It’s my new favorite restaurant/bar in Portland.

This was our 4th time to Lucky Cheetah, every other time was mostly a 5 star rating but for some reason we felt this time they fell a little short. The food just was not the same quality as other times and we usually order the same thing. Very inconsistent. Our rice tasted like it had been burned (we almost sent it back) and the other items we ordered were just not the same as before. We went for Maine Restaurant week (this is a good deal) for the prices there. Our drinks were fabulous though. Great take on a Mai Tai and their Martini is delicious. One thing to note is when your waiter offers you the caviar filled olives with your martini, they won't mention the $15 upcharge. Fun side dish though. I also felt our food delivery person felt a little rushed with the descriptions. I'm hoping it was an off night because we really love it there and the service is usually spot on.

Outstanding as always! Fast and friendly service. Delicious food and drinks. Fabulous decor. The kitchen could have staggered our dishes better; there was no room on the table for all our yummy food!

We absolutely love this place. The aesthetic paired with highly attentive service makes you feel like an absolute rockstar every time. The staff and management are always so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Stopping here for some delicious small plates and champagne is a must!

I can’t get enough of Lucky Cheetah and that oxtail noodle (everything else tastes delicious) but that is my favorite. I would also like to thank the bartender who keeps making my Lychee Martinis!

Everything was absolutely incredible! It’s hard not to order the entire menu, so definitely go hungry and order a bunch of plates to share. From service, to cocktails and ending with the best coffee ice cream ever, I can’t say enough great things! Sitting right by the service bar too, watching the staff interact in a fun, lively and respectful way was refreshing. You can tell they all work very well as a team. I’ll be back and recommending to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience in Portland! Thank you BOH and FOH!
