Lucia Beverley is located down a beautiful floral alley just a stone's throw from the popular market town's bustling Saturday market. The elegant two-storey restaurant features sumptuous interiors as well as a beautiful and cosy heated outdoor courtyard. It serves a modern Italian all day menu seven days a week from 12-10pm, with weekend brunch served from 9 -1130am Friday to Sunday.

Starters really good. Main courses not very good. Pizza base tough and charcoal! Sea Bass tasteless as was risotto. A shame as expected better quality. Service good and atmosphere fine. Sadly won’t hurry back.

Such a great place to eat the food and atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were very helpful. Since last time we have visited the menu had changed slightly however for the better in my opinion… the food was out of this world. 100% worth it for a place to eat!

As always we had a very enjoyable lunch as Lucia’s. Both food, ambience and music as well the upmarket decor and furnishings just makes it very special indeed! I would definitely highly recommend this restaurant … It’s a great place to dine and very high up on our favourites list!

January mid month lunch, using all inclusive lunch for two vouche. Good food and good value for money.

The restaurant is so pretty and lovely and has a nice relaxing atmosphere. The sharing roast was amazing, with 3 different choices of meat and large Yorkshire puddings. There was more than enough vegetables and potatoes and was very filling and tasty, would definitely recommend and have again.

I booked this for a birthday celebration. This was never acknowledged by our server. The table was hardly big enough for 4. The room was cold. Our server never asked if the food was good. All in all, a less than mediocre experience for well above average prices.

Food was awful, must have been the chefs day off, seafood linguini was actually spaghetti, had been bulk cooked left in a pan and was overcooked. Seafood was dreadful, there was no samphire or any chilli and the whole dish had no taste, no lemon and butter sauce and was unseasoned. Our other dish, paccheri panchetta looked congealed as if it was pre made in bulk and heated up in a microwave, was like rubber, it didnt look inviting to eat and tasted worse. The place is living on how it looks, the cocktails and music rather than the quality of its food, which was poor, 2 full plates went back, and we asked for the bill, after taking off a 10% service charge we paid and left. Needs Gordon Ramsey to sort out the kitchen, wont be going back anytime soon

Narrow table for 8 was not adequate enough to hold our drinks & food. Stated this, yet had to personally remove unnecessary items and put overflowing plates of food on a nearby table. The speaker directly above the table was so loud we had to ask for volume to be turned down. All of the oversized plates arrived at the table at the same time despite asking for the children's first. The childs menu pizza was the size of a large adult pizza. A portion of the items were cold and returned or not eaten. The Ceasar salad was horrible and lacking main ingredients (anchovy) and topped instead w soft boiled eggs and super thick, undercooked, uncut bacon rashers. We had to repeatedly ask for table service when more drinks or items were required. The only saving grace was when they offered to light the bday cake. I had high hopes but we won't be returning.

Went here with two children aged 9 and 13. All really enjoyed our meals. The side of brocolli, chilli and garlic was delish. Daughter had a passionfruit and lychee cooler mocktail which she loved. Kids menu good value and son enjoyed his pizza. Really nice place and whole experience. Staff really attentive and friendly. Will definitely return

Poor experience, service friendly but slow and very inattentive, drinks took a long while to come. Preordered ahead of time and there was still a substitution for one of the mains, one starter tasteless and sent back, of the mains several were bland - notably the seafood pasta which was watery and the risotto which was disappointing. One of the party was a coeliac and found staff bringing mains to be blasé and dismissive of questions asked. Huge shame as previously have had brilliant experiences here, would probably visit again for drinks as the atmosphere was good but would not recommend for food.
