Inspired by Toronto’s heritage as one of the largest distillery districts in the world during the turn of the 19th century, the dramatic interior is designed to represent the inside of a glistening crystal whiskey glass, each sip revealing a new layer of discovery. La comida me pareció espectacular, el lugar en las fotos aparenta ser mas para fine dining, estan las mesas demasiado unidas y no esta bonito como en la promoción, los cocktails eran demasiado sabor a sirope, excelente calidad de la comida pero para sus precios me hubiese gustado que el restaurante hubiese estado mejor decorado y las mesas mas separadas entre si. Ame el filet migñon con salsa de champagne pero la vibra se sentia de comedor publico en vez de un restaurante fino como lo hacen parecer.

Velada y ambiente muy agradable en grupo de 4. Servicio impecable.nuestra mesera nos aconsejó sabiamente .Ordenamos el steak de 16 oz, lo acompañamos con papas fritas súper crujientes y los champiñones a la Paris fueron suficiente para tres personas. También se ordenó El risotto de Langosta que está delicioso .

Service and quality has gone down - I’ve dined at Louix Louis a few times and our dinner last night was a bit disappointing. While the restaurant was beautiful as always, the service was slow and not to the high standards that it should be with the pricing and ‘st Regis name’. For example: appetizer plates were not cleared before dinner plates were placed down (making it very crowded) and no new cutlery was provided from course to course - not even a steak knife put down for my steak. All the plates were put down to the wrong person (we were a table of 4) which again felt strange for a high end restaurant. Food was a little bland as well, nothing special! For the money and the expectations, it was a let down based on service and food quality.

Went for the royal brunch for my birthday. We loved the welcome mimosas. All the dishes were great. The steak was done perfectly.

I was extremely disappointed with our experience at Louix Louis. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our 6th anniversary, excited for what we thought would be a memorable dinner. Unfortunately, the evening was far from what we had hoped for. We ordered the steak frites, and the steak was completely unseasoned. It lacked flavor, and for a high-end restaurant, this was unacceptable. We also both ordered water, assuming it was tap water and complimentary. However, when we received the bill, we were shocked to see a charge of $18 for water. At no point did the waitress inform us that we would be charged for it. To make matters worse, we were looking forward to trying the famous King’s Cake, thinking that it might be offered as a celebratory gesture since we were there for such a special occasion. However, when we asked about it, we found out it was $55! While we understand that premium desserts come at a cost, the lack of communication and overall attitude made the experience feel impersonal and transactional. What was meant to be a special evening left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected better service, better food, and better attention to detail. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Louix Louis and would not return.
