We had to wait nearly 25 minutes to get the table. The service was slow (maybe due to the rush). We ordered the thin crust Pizza. It was good but we should have got the deep dish instead.

Fun restaurant, good deep dish pizza! Very busy, there is going to be a wait. But it’s worth it!

Group of 8 with 6 children. Pre ordered the pizza from the afternoon for a 9 pm reservation. Seated us at 920 after arriving at 850 pm. They “missed” our pre-order and pizza takes 30 minutes to cook. Then had to order starters because the food wasn’t cooked ahead of time as promised. Food arrived at 10 pm and was average. No-one in a rush. Hostess looking at her phone. Lots of people waiting to be seated and lots of empty seats in the restaurant. Odd experience. Was expecting much more. No-one said sorry - seemed to be business as usual for them. Won’t recommend or go back.

Lou’s is the best pizza in Chicago. Lou’s is so much better at the restaurant when it comes right out of the oven. So great! And our waitress, Lexi, was outstanding.

We live in NC , we come to Lou Malnati’s every visit to Chicago! Excellent pie , salad was very good too and Carlos did an excellent job, very personable and polite!

Honestly, they shouldn’t sell the gluten free (deep dish) pizza. I know it’s tough to do GF food, but if you can’t do it well, just don’t do it. Our server, Matthew, was amazing and very attentive, even on a very crazy night with multiple >10-top tables. I just can’t recommend this pizza to anyone. The crust was so hard it nearly broke a tooth, and the pizza itself was bland, even with sausage (a house specialty?), pepperoni, and mushrooms…
