Located on the south side of the Brookfield Square Shopping Center, Lou’s is convenient for a break from shopping, post-Brookfield Zoo adventures or heading back from downtown.     Pizza was overpriced but not up to the mark, lasagna was overloaded with tomato sauce and original taste was subsided. Had better expectations.

    The calamari was rubber. The food took 40+ minutes to get. Just wasn’t a great experience and not worth it.

    It was NYE so we understood it was a busy night and tried to be patient. Our reservation was for 6:30. We sat at 6:42 not a problem. Took 10 mins for our server to come over not a problem. Ordered drinks and food right away per her advice. Took 30 mins to get our first drink. We had to ask 2 different servers to check the bar for us before it came. Then our apps arrived. They were fine. After 57 mins we were told the kitchen was severely behind and it would be another 30/45 mins to get our pizza. We had a party to get to so they asked if we still wanted to wait. We declined. They did comp the drinks and apps we appreciated and we left.

    Food was good. Ordered dessert..,one Tiramisu and a free Birthday cookie, and it took a long time to get them.

    Disappointed in our pizza. It was undercooked, my drink (an old fashion) was incorrectly made. First time for their thin crust. I don't recommend it.
