TENrei: The Art of Tuna Ceremony at Los Mochis London City is an immersive 10-course, 12-seater experience led by Executive Head Chef. The unveiling of a whole, uncut tuna, starts the ceremony, followed by an intricate, skilful breakdown using traditional Japanese knives, where Chef Tanyag guides guests through each step of the process, from expertly filleting the fish to detailing the unique techniques and flavours of each cut, including coveted sections like otoro (fatty belly), chutoro (medium-fat), and akami (lean). Each stage is a celebration of Japanese culinary art, where guests sample the tuna’s freshest cuts immediately as they are prepared. Available every second and fourth Tuesday of each month. *Subject to availability.

Super buzzy and beautiful but slow, overpriced and not even that unique of food options. Waited 30 min for someone to even take our drink order, as only one server for our busy section. Finally, when I went to find someone the guy came over. Food is small portion for price and if you’re an odd number group be prepared to have to order 2 - there’s no add one piece flex. Cocktails are £18+. I should have expected it but at £75pp (1 cocktail each and 6 dishes of finger food) it was an underwhelming experience.

Venue and staff were lovely. Thought for 4 people, 4 drinks, no deserts = £450 was a bit toppy

I arrived there and the waiter was so close to my face that he spat on me twice, it was quite upsetting. Then he put the wooden tray on top of my head and the tray started dripping on my arm… lastly he brought the tostaditos allergy free and I had specifically said I wanted the avocado on the dish, when I told him, he was rude and started calling me Miss and then he made up it was just avocado oil and tried to fool me. Terrible experience, I truly am never coming back. Then some sort of manager came and said our food would be free and it wasn’t, so… yeah, not worth it.
