Delicious food in a nice atmosphere! Loved the GF menu options since one in our party needed that. Also that clean oils are used as we try to avoid seed oils. We like the updates (not sure how recently done) and plan to come back more often.

We suspect the restaurant is short-handed with servers. It took a long time for us to see our server. The food came pretty quickly thus means the kitchen is not backed up. We then have to wait for utensils to eat our food. By the time the utensils arrived, my husband was almost done with his burger. The condiments came when he had two more bites left. It also took awhile to get our check. The French toast was delicious. I hope they will address the service issues.

The food was good, the service was ok. The server wasn't very attentive, and she never refilled our waters or ice tea. Overall, it was a good place to go. I'm just a little disappointed that for a $140 bill, the service was marginal at best

I hate to say it, but I would rate this restaurant as mediocre at best. The food just isn’t that great and the prices are pretty high for what it is. My daughter got a bowl of tomato soup for $13. That did not include bread. And my eggs were lackluster and undercooked, and the salad was not dressed. It’s a good location and the service was pretty good but the food was really lacking.

Easy to locate in downtown Palo Alto, family friendly. Service was fine, not friendly. Food was fine. The restaurant was cold inside.

Slow service. Water pitcher was provided but much too small for four people. Water glasses were similarly undersized. The restaurant claims to care about the planet, but if so, why do they offer salmon (a carnivore!) but not tilapia, which is much less resource intensive to produce? Could it be that thier nominal environmentalism is, like the salmon, just another bourgeois luxury to be sold at a premium? Reserving a table signed me up for marketing emails. This restaurant markets itself as a friend to the working class, but behaves just like any other corpo.
