   Little Katana has become one of my favorite weekday dinner stops. The sushi is always fresh, and their pot stickers, and shredded brussels sprouts are amazing. And to top it off since it’s cold out their hot and spicy chicken soup instantly makes you feel better!

   The food was delicious and the service was excellent, but I was able to book a reservation for 10:00pm and they stop serving food and drinks at 10:00pm. So it was a little weird to show up for our reservation and we had to order everything we wanted for the night immediately.

    My wife and I met a friend here for supper. The friend had suggested the venue because she had dined there many times before. I had been aware of its existence since the days when it was located right off the Katy Trail but had never eaten there (so many Japanese restaurants so little time!) I had the yakisoba noodles with chicken and shrimp. The noodles were not soba (buckwheat) but they were good. I would have preferred soba but good is good. My wife had sushi and a salad. I'm not sure what our friend had but she liked it. For drinks I had the grapefruit martini, my wife had a gin and tonic, and our friend a glass of cabernet. We were all quite satisfied and the bill didn't break the bank. All in all it was a very enjoyable evening.
