   This was our first time at the new location. Still wonderful- always a pleasure to eat at one of her restaurants.

   Was expecting much more from the food but we were disappointed. The lattes we ordered were okay, one had to be returned because it tasted like dish water. Overall very unimpressed by the pancakes (ordered two different varieties) and our party of 3 decided we won’t be returning to this diner. Our server was great as was all of the staff. Just mediocre and underwhelming food.

   What a change since their days in the West Loop. Food is not the same quality. I was disappointed. Pancakes were dry. No butter. Just dry. Maple sausage - which used to be a favorite…soaked in grease. Ugh. I used to love this place. Spent over $100 for a not so great meal. However the staff was kind.

   Was able to get a table outside, service was great coffees & food excellent. Great portions for value. Food was delicious and our server (I believe her name is Molly) was friendly. Would highly recommend for brunch/lunch, however it can be hard to get a table as a walk in so reservations are a good idea.

    Great service!! and amazing food! It’s a smaller, easily packed place but the classic 50s diner feel, down to the cups, plates, and mugs, is so fun. highly recommended!! 😁
