We hope to be that third place for you to gather and catch up over a delicious meal and craft cocktails.
Owned and operated by the friendly and energetic couple, Owen and Mindi McGlynn of Asheville Proper, they wanted to create an inviting and easygoing space just for locals, located in North Asheville, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown life.

We enjoy this place and it’s been out of our rotation for awhile. Service is 100%. We like the neighborhood vibe. Wine by the glass list interesting and fun. We had the appetizer special - 100%, the fish special - 100%. The other entree was a bit dry. But overall great spot. Thank you.

The food is delicious. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The dining room is lovely, comfortable and intimate. This is consistantly one of our favorite restaurants in the Asheville area, especially for date night!

Great dinner. Started with wine and bread and moved to small dishes and had our entrees. Very nice and plan to come back again soon.

First trip to Little Ds. Our table was ready when we arrived and the other couple we were eating with were seated. It seemed strange that there's no place to hang up a coat which took us a few minutes to navigate while our server was trying to get drink orders from us. A minor issue but annoying. From there the evening was good. The menu is nice and concise - they aren't trying to do everything. Our server described dishes to help us in our decision making. Since Asheville is just re-opening from an 8 week lack of potable water, things aren't quite normal yet and that was reflected in the wine list being a little different day to day per the server. Food arrived nicely paced and all was well prepared. If I had a critique of the food it'd be that it was a little salty for my tastes. But all very tasty. The space is cozy - it's a store front in a neighborhood strip mall after all. If I lived closer I'd probably go more often.
