We warmly welcome you to Leonessa- an Italian-Inspired Kitchen & Bar on beautiful Route 6A in Yarmouth Port. Husband & Wife team, Chef Owner Diego Mota and Owner & General Manager Taylor Amara bring exceptional scratch made regional Italian cuisine and impeccable service to this iconic neighborhood. Combining the best of food and beverage of Italy along with the influences of its bordering neighbors coalesces into a dynamic, modern and elevated culinary experience. Chef Diego and Taylor's dream to pour their true love and passion for food, beverages, and hospitality is realized with every service. Reservations are for tables in each our four unique dining rooms while the Bar welcomes guests on a first come first serve basis. Please note that we do our level best to accommodate seating/area requests but they are not guaranteed. We also kindly ask that parties arrive together so that everyone can enjoy their time with us. My wife and I started with the cheese plate which was delicious.For mains my wife had the spicy crab and pasta which was delicious. I had the short rib risotto which was also delicious. The service provided by Michael was great ( as always as we’ve had him as our waiter in previous visits) We’ve eaten here about half a dozen times and this meal may have been the best yet. We’ll be returning soon.

One of the best meals I’ve had on the cape and south shore! Short rib risotto was absolutely delicious. The short rib was cooked perfectly and the risotto was mushroom forward. The veal Milanese was also lovely. Impressive wine list and service was impeccable. Will be returning soon!

Service was Exceptional. Food was delicious. Wish you had gluten free bread service. Unfortunately table so close to us came in after us and woman was wearing very strong overpowering perfume that made Me sick to my stomach. Not much you can do with it but I feel for the server Who had to keep going to the table as Well.

Excellent dinner - bartenders were engaging and knowledgeable, without being pretentious. Food was amazing.

Leonessa has the best duck in New England. It is always prepared perfectly and satifies a hungry palate.

As always when we dine at Leonessa, we feel compelled to return quickly so we can try other dishes. Food, services and ambiance are absolute top notch. This restaurant is a bay side gem. Congratulations!

Fourth dinner here now, and it’s still unbelievably delicious. The steak tartare is so full of flavor and tender, it’s our favorite item on the menu. My husband had the duck, and it was phenomenal. My halibut was so good, and I don’t know how the shrimp was prepared, but I loved them. We brought our kids, who really enjoyed their dinners of skirt steak and pasta, and dessert was excellent as well. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they acknowledged it very nicely without embarrassing him by singing. Our waitress was so great as well. It was a perfect night and we can’t wait to come back again soon!
