Inspired by the birthplace of the original Parisian brasseries along the Left Bank of the Seine River, Left Bank Brasserie is an authentic Parisian-style brasserie by Chef Roland Passot. Left Bank pays homage to the joie
de vivre that is synonymous with the Left Bank neighborhood in Paris. Guests are invited to step into
French culture, in a vibrant, social atmosphere that captures all the charm of traditional brasseries
and iconic alfresco dining of France. An all-day menu features authentic French cuisine utilizing
seasonal, local and organic ingredients, and consists of iconic lighter fare such as oysters, tartare and
prawns provençal, in addition to heartier classics like coq au vin and beef bourguignon. Inspired by the
Parisian-style Bar Américain, an extensive cocktail menu features classics of a bygone era, along with a
wide range of rotating taps, seasonal drafts and bottled beer, and an expertly-curated wine selection.

A wonderful dinner for Beaujolais Nouveau day. We started with salad verte and fried calamari followed by lobster bisque and ended with 1lb moule frites that all was in a garlic, wine & spinach sauce. We ended with a very large & delicious tart au citron with fresh raspberries. Thank you all.

The service and happy hour deals were great but I was disappointed by my main. I got the catch of the day and there were pin bones in my fish, it was pretty salty, and some of the vegetables were undercooked.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the view of the water was great. The restaurant was out of a few items which was a little frustrating. The main issue I have is the my son put in an order and then was told they were out so he choose another entre. By the time he got his food, the rest of us had gotten our food and were almost finished. That was disappointing:(

Need to update the beer menu, nothing listed was in stock and our server told us the taps had been broken for months. The food was decent but nothing special particularly at the price point. Great service and ambiance but this place feels like a forgotten location within a larger chain. Will try again for not brunch.

This is a Great Dining Experience Left Bank in Oakland's Jack London Square has been the go-to restaurant for my old friend and me for many years for our periodic get togethers. It has never failed to be anything less than a wonderful experience. The menu is fairly compact (plus daily specials). Over the years, we have probably tried most everything, with no disappointments. Impeccable ingredients, expertly prepared and presented. Portions are generous. Prices are moderate. Service and ambiance add to the wonderful experience. Full bar (and a great bartender) . A very nice wine list with reasonable markups and some very nice wines under $50.

Had the roasted chicken which was very good but very hard to eat due to its small size. Lot of work for little meat.
